Fire NPR

National Public Radio’s dismissal of Juan Williams is a powerful indictment of NPR’s practices and corporate culture. Small wonder voices are once again calling for the federal government to defund NPR—which gets 16% of its budget from tax payers. The Heritage Foundation has long called for such defunding. Hey, O’Reilly, Here’s How to Give the Word to Maher

It’s not that Bill O’Reilly was pecksniffian in his verbal sparring with Bill Maher last week on the topic of religion. The powerhouse host of Fox News was just plain ill-equipped. But the White House stepped up their attack on Fox News last Sunday by sending Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Senior Advisor David Axelrod … More

Last night, Nina Owcharenko, Deputy Director of the Center for Health Policy Studies at the Heritage Foundation went into the ‘No Spin Zone’ to discuss with Bill O’Reilly the specifics of Senator Max Baucus’ (D-MT) newly unveiled Health Care Reform legislation.  As Nina puts it: “Well, actually it has the same fundamental problems that the other bills making their way through Congress have. It’s got a public plan. Baucus just calls it a co-op. It’s got massive federal regulation over insurance and benefits, a massive Medicaid expansion, and an employer mandate … More
