Obamacare was pushed into law with the hope that the more Americans learned about it, the more they would like it. That has not happened. Americans remain strongly opposed to the health law and its expansion of the role of government in their lives. The more they learn about the law, the less they like it and the more they search for an alternative, like Heritage’s Saving the American Dream proposal, that empowers patients, reduces costs, and ensures access.

How Obamacare Will Affect All Americans

In response to the wave of insurance cancellations hitting millions of Americans, and the admission by some that President Obama’s “if you like your plan” promise was false, Obamacare’s defenders are now taking a different tack. While the law’s supporters finally admit that some people will be worse off under … More

    Fictitious Obamacare “Fixes”

As millions of people are learning that Obamacare is resulting in their insurance policies being canceled, the President’s “answer” and the legislative solutions being voted on by Congress are to issue a possible and limited one-year delay of the benefit mandates. Somehow, it is supposed to be reassuring to people … More

303 Hours and Counting: N.C. Man Still Can't Delete Personal Information from HealthCare.gov

Do You Believe Obama This Time? How About Now? …Now?

Once upon a time, Obamacare was “settled” law that was “here to stay.” Or so President Obama said—before Obamacare failed to survive contact with reality. Obama Becoming a Punchline, but Obamacare Is No Joke

“The Tonight Show” is a cultural bellwether, so when its studio audience roars its approval at Senator Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) quip that Obamacare is “the biggest job killer in this country,” you know something’s happening across our land. The truth is now gushing out on the President’s signature legislation, which … More

Top 10 Reasons Why I Didn't Sign Up on HealthCare.gov

Obamacare Numbers: Not Exactly a Retail Success Story

The first Obamacare enrollment numbers are out—and unsurprisingly, they’re under-whelming. Just 26,794 people “selected” plans through HealthCare.gov since the website launched. An additional 79,391 have selected plans through a state-based exchange—but the Administration qualifies these numbers by saying that all of these people haven’t necessarily paid for a plan yet. … More
