Yesterday, Heritage’s William E. Simon Fellow Ryan T. Anderson appeared on The Blaze with host Andrew Wilkow to discuss Arizona law SB 1062, which is designed to protect religious liberty. Anderson debated the Log Cabin Republicans’ executive director Gregory T. Angelo on the matter. Watch their spirited exchange here:

There’s a difference between just making a cake or taking photo for gay people, and making a wedding cake. Bakers who have been put out of business for refusing to make wedding cakes for gay “marriages” have had not problem making cakes for any other event for them.

And yeah, yeah, the gay community want is to all revolve around them, but what about bakers, photographers, florists who choose not to make wedding cakes for a “black” (not race, but dark or Satanic) wedding? Or make a cake of body parts, or photograph sexually explicit images.

The people providing these services should be allow to do the work they are comfortable with.
