Members of Congress face a deadline this week to keep the government funded — a decision that will once again put the spotlight on House conservatives who may balk at the $1.012 trillion “omnibus” spending bill.

This Wednesday, you’ll have an opportunity to hear directly about the most important debates playing out on Capitol Hill. Conversations with Conservatives [1] starts at 11 a.m. ET and will be broadcast live on The Foundry.

Conversations with Conservatives is a group of free market and liberty-minded members of Congress that meet each month with press and bloggers to discuss pressing issues. This month’s topics will likely range from the Ryan-Murray budget talks to the implementation of Obamacare.

The event is chaired by Representatives Raúl Labrador (R-ID), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), and Jim Jordan (R-OH). Other participants include Representatives Michele Bachmann (R-MN), Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Andy Harris (R-MD), Steve King (R-IA), Cynthia Lummis (R-WY), Tom McClintock (R-CA), Mick Mulvaney (R-SC), and Matt Salmon (R-AZ). Additional participants may be attend.
