  • Obama Changes Stump Speech: Al-Qaeda No Longer "on the Run"

President Obama has changed his tune on al-Qaeda. Gone from his stump speeches is the boast that al-Qaeda has been decimated.

This was President Obama speaking in Miami on October 11: “Four years ago, I told you we’d end the war in Iraq, and I did. I said we’d end the war in Afghanistan, and we are. I said we’d refocus on the people who actually attacked us on 9/11—and today, al-Qaeda is on the run and Osama bin Laden is dead.”

Fast-forward to Obama speaking in Mount Vernon, Iowa, on October 17, the day after the second presidential debate: “You know, four years ago I told you we’d end the war in Iraq, and I did. I said we’d end the war in Afghanistan, and we are. I said we’d focus on the terrorists who actually attacked us on 9/11, and we have, and bin Laden is dead.”

Notice, gone is the phrase “and today, al-Qaeda is on the run.” This is no accident.

At Tuesday’s presidential debate, Obama was challenged on the September 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi and on the meaning of the word terrorism. The fact that the President’s stump speech has been altered shows that this issue is finally getting under Obama’s skin and that of his advisers.

What the President and his Administration said—or did not say—since September 11 on terrorism has become a matter of deep fascination. But at the heart of the blame-shifting and lawyerly language over the meaning of terrorism are questions about intelligence, security, and policy failure in the Middle East.

The fact that al-Qaeda is in fact alive and getting a foothold in Libya should not have been news to the Administration. Details can be found in a new report from the Library of Congress. This report was completed in August, and the Library of Congress concluded that al-Qaeda has grown in strength in Libya as well as in other Arab countries.

Still, President Obama, Vice President Biden, and their surrogates kept mouthing the line that “al-Qaeda is in the run.” But apparently not any more.

The government in authority omits the word and all associated with terror, terrorists, terrorism. They want us to become complacent to the devaluing of humanity and human life we are witnessing by acts of terrorism around the world and on our own American men. Obama's government won't call it what it is for politicization only. Yet he spins it on Romney with those glaring, glassy, eyes! ooh. Lying right through his teeth like a big bully!! ooh. Democrats created the big bad bully class when they're the big bad bullies!! ooh. They're violent in their speak, they threaten violence and insistent in regard to their frailties. aah. Poor things!! Could that be considered bipolar or mental disorder of multiple personalities? Public education?

There's no reason those in the position of authority aren't arrested for aiding and abetting terror, terrorists and terrorism in Benghazi when terrorists freely carried out their tortures, rapes, dismembering to the deaths of innocent AMERICANS whose VALUE WE HOLD HIGH!

There's no reason those in position of authority aren't IMMEDIATELY arrested for prevarication and falsification displaying direct disconnect to their expected duty. There's no sense in those in authority who use their position in direct conflict of interest to think they deserve to serve America!!! There's no reason the guilty shouldn't be immediately stripped of all authority held above the peoples' republic of America when they show unwillingness to do the job required of them.

America doesn't lower herself to weakness. She builds strength where weakness isn't made exception to. America will not stand for this corrupt, disrespectful, antiAmerican, cowardice, bullish and murderous leadership whose failures in every aspect of this administration, shows us their immense lack of integrity and how much they really DON'T care!! The adjectives to leadership won't access exception!! How dare America come to this horror that was preventable in every measure but unpreventable in the wrong hands of ill will!
