This week’s Values Voter Summit will bring together conservatives from across the country to Washington, DC. Speakers include Representative Paul Ryan (R-WI), Senators Jim DeMint (R-SC) and Rand Paul (R-KY), and Governor Bob McDonnell (R-VA). Heritage is a proud sponsor.
Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, will preview the annual conference at today’s Bloggers Briefing. The meeting begins at noon ET and is streamed live online.
Also on tap for today:
• John Solomon, president and executive editor of the Washington Guardian . This new investigative journalism outfit is breaking news and covering stories about waste, fraud and abuse in government.
• Drew Gonshorowski, a policy analyst in our Center for Data Analysis. The Obama administration is selling the Medicaid expansion as a great benefit to the states. But really it’s an unnecessary and unaffordable aspect of Obamacare.
The Bloggers Briefing was founded in May 2006 as a weekly policy discussion for conservative bloggers and journalists. Follow the action on Livestream or ask a question on Twitter using the hashtag #BloggersBriefing .
