    House Cloakroom: July 9 – July 13

Analysis: This week the House will take up full repeal of Obamacare. The Supreme Court allowed the law to stand, placing the responsibility on Congress to repeal this massive government takeover of the health care system. The full repeal vote will take place on Wednesday, July 11. The past two years have demonstrated this law to be a disaster. From mandates that violate religious freedom to onerous taxes, Obamacare is wrong for the country. This Wednesday, the House will once again attempt to stop this law.

OK we know the house has the votes to overturn this. The question remains how many Dems will vote to keep the biggest tax increase ever, just before the election? Since this only requires a 51% vote to be repealed we will not need that many converts to kill the bill. Maybe we need a few TEA party events at key Dem offices?

This will be an important indication of the committment toward Founding Principles by the US House of Representives…To not repeal, is to move more toward Marxism and slavery..

it's too bad the Republicans are wasting all this time when repeal Obamacare (again) instead of workign on the economy and creating jobs. Sadly, the economy has slowed dramatically since the Republican policies have been implemented. Republicans still want to debate health care over and over and over. Most Americans can see right through the charade. They want the economy to falter unstil after the election.

what are the democrats doing, steve h? that couldn't have been done throughout time to avoid the mess they've created? you're darn right most Americans see through the charade and will see more when they find out integrity isn't supported and specifically election integrity, unsupported by the one side of government called racists, I mean democratic!

      • Stirling says:

If you wonder why the economy is in the dumps Steve, look no further then Obamacare for the reason. Forced healthcare is an employers nightmare and if you'd bother to look up the results in countries like France, England, and others you'd realize the damage it has done. Every industry that Government controls results in substandard results. Republicans realize it's a burden, not a help to the economy thus removing it is a priority.
