  • When Will the President Reveal a Secret Deal with the Russians?

Congressman Mike Turner (R–OH) recently released a video asking what secret deal with the Russian Federation President Obama had in mind when he told Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev that he will have “more flexibility” after the election. Turner’s efforts are warranted, because the American people place a fundamental trust in the President to do all within his power to defend them against foreign military threats. President Obama is indicating his willingness to bargain away U.S. missile defense whenever he gets the chance.

No number of high-level briefings and no amount of information can satisfy Russia’s misplaced objections to the U.S. missile defense system. Fundamentally, Russia intends to keep Americans and U.S. allies hostage to its ballistic missile threat.

Recently, Russian Chief of General Staff Nikolai Makarov threatened a pre-emptive nuclear strike if the United States proceeds with its Phased Adaptive Approach, a missile defense plan for the protection of U.S. allies and the U.S. homeland in its later stages. This is outrageous, since missile defense interceptors do not have offensive capabilities and would be used only in the case of a ballistic missile en route toward its victims—be they in Berlin, Paris, or New York. No leader will choose to sacrifice millions of lives just because a launch location happens to be in Russia.

President Obama’s comments are troubling. For decades, Russia has demanded legally binding guarantees that missile defenses will not be effective against its ballistic missiles. It is, however, impossible to “dumb down” U.S. missile defense interceptors to Russian ballistic missiles without making them less effective against ballistic missiles of other actors, including Iran or North Korea. North Korea is allegedly working on rail-mobile ballistic missiles, which are extremely easy to hide. Iran is transferring ballistic missile technologies to terrorist groups in the Middle East and is actively cooperating with Venezuela’s anti-American President Hugo Chavez. More than 30 countries have ballistic missile capabilities.

Yet President Obama cut funding for the missile defense program in his first year in office and cancelled some of the most promising technologies: the Multiple Kill Vehicle, the Airborne Laser, and the Kinetic Energy Interceptor. President Obama also decided not to procure the Medium Extended Air Defense Systems developed jointly with Italy and Germany. As the ballistic missile threat keeps growing qualitatively and quantitatively, this is not the time to undermine U.S. missile defense capabilities and alliance commitments.

This imposter intends to bring this once Glorious Nation to its knees and the quickest way is to render it indefensible. why hasn't congress acted on this before we the people are begging the military to take over. I will tell you… Congress has sold out the people miserably for their own aggrandizement.. We the people MUST TAKE OUR GOVERNMENT BACK…And, the ONLY way We can DO THIS IS TO VOTE EACH AND EVERY INCUMBENT, REPUBLICAN AND DEMOCRAT, OUT OF OFFICE… NO EXCEPTIONS…PERIOD..And if we STILL have elections, then the next we will vote out the remainder….

When Nixon faced impeachment he resigned in disgrace, yet he did nothing to put this country in jeopardy. We now have a President who has dishonored the oath he took to "Defend against enemies foreign and domestic" . He continues to weaken our Armed forces and lines of defence. Vote him out in Nov.

    4. Max Penn says:

Birds of a feather flock together. He is in total agreement with the Russians. If we don't wake up soon we will lose America.

    5. Lloyd Scallan says:

How much more must the people of America see before we recognize what is Obama. Every day, there is more proof of Obama's ill intention for this nation. Yet some polls have him tied with Romney. Can we imagine if the GOP would have hand picked any other Republlican as the party's nonimee instead of the worst RINO of the bunch?

    6. Blair Franconia, NH says:

Never. He'll reveal our state secrets to our enemies but he won't reveal his secret deal with the Russians.

    7. Rob says:

Since 1917, Russia has been an enemy of the United States and it is essential for us to conquer them and if necessary, destroy their civilization.

    8. Saltire says:

Interesting that Russia is testing their new ICBM, while we (the U.S.) is drawing down the military and our own aging ICBM/nuclear forces and infrastructure is deteriorating.

    9. L. Bradley says:

After watching a video of young Obama supporters comment on why they are for Obama, I can only say God help us. Their comments are laced with foul language, lacking the ability to speak and think in any rational way. This is a tribute to the successful destruction of public education over the last 40 to 50 years, at least. We have our work cut out for us. Nothing short of the re-education of our youth, starting with the foundations of Western Civilization; the philosophers, thinkers and literature leading up to the founding of the US and why it is the only hope for the development and survival of the best qualities of humanity which can only happen in a free society. This is not to say that the US ideals will be without fault, but we have within its structure the ability to self correct. This is worth fighting for. To give up the struggle is to accept tyranny.
