The United States does not need to protect itself from the threat of ballistic missiles right now. At least that is what President Obama suggests with his recent exchange between himself and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev during the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul.
The exchange was as follows:
President Obama: “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved but it’s important for him to give me space.”
President Medvedev: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you.…”
President Obama: “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”
President Medvedev: “I understand. I will transmit this information to Vladimir [Putin].”
The United States and its allies remain unprotected from a threat of ballistic missiles while North Korea is preparing to launch yet another long-range missile. By conceding to Russian demands on missile defense, the Administration has made the situation even worse. Yet this is exactly what President is planning on doing if he gets re-elected.

Takes me back to the days (daze?) of the original Star Trek series, when my friends and I would place a Spock mind-meld outstretched hand over someone's forehead and solemnly intone: Space, the final frontier.
Somehow seems eerily apropos…
Yo, Dimitri. I won't tell the details to anyone else if you won't (wink, wink).
Of course, Mister President. Is hokie dokie with us, too. It will be our little secretski (wink, wink).
What a unqualified Commander and Chief we have in the White House! Too bad all those "people of color" didn't care if he was qualified or not….they just voted for the man because he too is a "person of color". It just proves that America remains a Racist country, when it's Presidential election is fraught with Racism! Shameful!
