  • VIDEO: Remembering 9/11 - Never Quit

As Americans prepare to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the September 11th terrorists attacks, The Heritage Foundation has been busy reminding Congress and the public of the importance of staying the course in the War on Terror.

In the past 10 years, at least 40 terrorist plots have been foiled due, in large part, to our enhanced counter-terrorism efforts. But despite this progress, efforts are underway to undermine some of this progress by rejecting the very policies that have kept us safe.

In a new report, James Carafano lays out many of the problems with the current strategy:

The Administration now seeks to treat terrorism under a law enforcement paradigm that failed to protect Americans from terrorism when it was adopted by the Clinton Administration before 9/11. In addition, the White House intends to follow a “small footprint” strategy for overseas operations, relying primarily on Special Forces operations, covert action, and strikes with unmanned aerial vehicles.

The President’s strategy cedes the initiative to America’s enemies and provides them the opportunity to reconstitute both their moral and physical assets.

As Ericka Andersen explains, this is simply the wrong way to maintain a strong defense:

Ten years later, Osama bin Laden is dead, delivering to victims’ families and the rest of America a bit of justice for the heinous acts we all witnessed. But one terrorist’s death does not justify returning to the national security mindset that existed prior to that day.

Please take a moment to watch our short video and share it with friends and family.

I think it is to bad that the president has forgotten about 9/11. It is shameful that he ignores warnings of terror as if he wants us all to get hurt/killed except his people. It is shameful that he does not America to be first in the world. He keeps trying to make us last.

Thank you for letting me be able to express my sadness on this tracik event in America's history.

This excellent video heeds a warning.
It brings me back to the moments when my American brothers and sisters jumped from the Towers, as their choice, for certain death, over certain death, by burning to death.
The word " brave" was redefined that day, for millions us that watched in helpless, horror.
I think about these people all the time. I lived in N.Y. and CT most of my life.
      This video has a warning.
To ignore fact and Intel, coming from TX and AZ , and NOT to secure American Borders, under Obama ,IS America major mistake. It's the primary breech for our security with known illegals that have ties to terrorist countries, already crossed through our broken system.
The Intel given to HLS over two years ago changed NOTHING, to secure our border.

God Bless America and all the victims from 911, and their families.

Ten years on from that crisp, early fall day in September and it still seems like yesterday.

you'd think terrorists as human beings would appreciate the truth instead of hiding behind and acting on evil derangement like cowards. Americans give no reasons to be hated, the terrorists saw it for themselves!

What the government does behind the backs of people and within government control is no reason to kill people anywhere in the world! And how anybody or terrorists think they are above the human Creator that they can judge people they don't know just because a human being insisted they can and by murder, is unfit for civil society. The difference between animals and people? animals can't reason. human animals won't!

ps, some of the photography in other footage involving 911, seemed suspiciously prepared…
