  • Heritage Radio: Fast and Furious, Rep. Price on Debt Ceiling, More

In this month’s Libertad Radio Show on WBER in Fairfax, Virginia, our Heritage team had a chance to sit down with experts and political leaders to discuss issues ranging from Mexico and Afghanistan, to the economy and jobs.

The first half of the hour-long show is in Spanish, the second half in English. To listen to the full show, click here.

We kicked off our Spanish segment with a discussion on the President’s recent decision to begin withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. Later on, we had the opportunity to sit down with Heritage expert Ray Walser, to discuss the recent “Fast and Furious” gunrunning scandal.

During our English segment, we were privileged to have Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) on with us to discuss the latest developments with the debt limit, jobs and spending. Make sure to listen to his reaction to Rep. Jim McDermott’s (D-WA) characterization of the GOP budget plan.

Don’t miss the next Libertad Radio Show on WBER on Sunday, July 17th, 12 PM ET.

I refuse to listen to anything in Spanish in the United States. I am disgusted that Heritage is associated with a radio broadcast pandering to a group that does not want to assimilate into the "melting pot". It must be a new "separate but equal" ideology. Imagine, I am even a paying member of Heritage. May be I should drop out of it.

While I 100% believe we should conduct Government business in English, I also believe the private sector should be free to reach out in whatever language they so choose. I would much rather have Heritage and other Conservatives reaching out to the Hispanic community on Spanish media than to leave it totally in the hands of the political Left.

H.F you have clearly lost your minds…
If your care to check, MX is suing the USA over the legal claim that MX citizens were murdered from guns purchased here and sold to cartel operatives.
These victims are be represented by a NYC based law firm.
Golly who 's going to pay for the 40,000 plus victims now murdered from MX cartel violence.
No mention of the 101 American now dead from the same.
Do you want their names in Sp, English, French or…you decide? But you ….pander…. here…
Go back on Libertard ( liberty) and post an article on human rights . We already get. It's call a Democracy and the languages is English.

You guys, come on? How can we reach out to good people when there's a language barrier? Not everyone knows English and why make it hard on anyone to get the message of America out? It's important that people of good will be given a chance to understand the true America. Their sincerity will want to know English. I commend Heritage!
