  • Online Chat on our Fiscal Future

Join our “Lunch with Heritage” chat from 12-1 ET. We are taking questions about the growth of entitlement programs and how they affect our  fiscal future. We will be joined by Research Associate Kate Nix, one of the co-authors of the 2011 Budget Chart Book which graphically illustrates the unsustainable path of federal spending now and in the future. The chart book paints a grim picture of our national debtfederal spending, and the dangerous growth of the entitlement state.  Join us with your questions.

One Response to Online Chat on our Fiscal Future

    1. Leon Lundquist, Dura says:

Some 'spending' is different from other spending. It isn't that we spent money, it is that we didn't get any return on our 'investments!' If you pile up money in the street and burn it, that isn't quite the same as actually spending it to a purpose. I am reminded when the Iraq War II was being considered, and we 'spent' $8 million on the Iraqi National Congress, but they INC only got $850 K. You can't say we spent money in Iraq when the Lion's share went to meetings, hotels and payoffs in London!

I think it is an overarching Strategy among the Kloward Piven Gang, to just waste money! Essentially, pile it in the street and burn it! That is what the Income Tax is! It simply vanishes American Capital by taking money before it has a chance to Work in the Economy! So sure! The Demo-crats just love to waste money, not just spend it! Waste it! That's how we got all those wonderful "Your Stimulus Dollars At Work" signs. If we pass money from Gang Bank to Gang Bank, it isn't really money that is IN the Economy! That money doesn't touch American Consumers or Producers! You can't even call it a part of the Economy, as Economy! The money never gets anywhere near the Economy! Oh! But they count it! Oh! "Economic Activity!"

Wrong. All those Trillions passing back and forth between Plutocrats? That is counting the Loss! What has been stolen from Americans! You can't call a loss 'economic activity' like we should all be proud that Plutocrats are doing really well, so "Don't Worry! All better now!" Piffle!

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
