  • Lunch with Heritage Chat: Reviving Hope for School Choice in the Nation's Capital

The future of the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program (D.C. OSP) is hanging in the balance. Poison pill language hidden in the 2009 government spending bill began phasing out the program. The Obama administration, beholden to special interest education unions, stood by as the last Congress worked to phase-out the highly successful scholarship program. However, with a new congress, there is new hope for school choice. Heritage has been on the forefront of the school choice movement and has written extensively about it. Join us right now for our “Lunch with Heritage” chat. We will be joined by Education policy expert Lindsey Burke. She is taking your questions about the future of School Choice and why the D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program is so important to the future of education reform.

The whole Issue of School Choice is Progressives using Public Schools to Socialize, not educate. When I say Obama is a Sorcerer, point out the many poison pills hidden here and everywhere he's been. It never has been sensible why Parents could never get School Vouchers! It really was Political Indoctrination, done above the People's Heads! Sixty Years! Nothing in our Lexicon fits better than "Sorcery" and Obama IS the Sorcerer King! Deception over the People's heads! Dispicable.

Thanks for calling for the end of the Federal Department Of Education! Republican Budget Cutters could do wonders in one swell foop!

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
