  • NPR: Negative Public Relations

Veteran journalist Juan Williams’ recent dismissal from NPR indicates the current state of much of left-wing media. In a timely podcast, Heritage’s vice president of communications, Mike Gonzalez, discusses NPR. “They present themselves as an objective media organization, but they’re not,” he says. “I don’t have a problem with George Soros contributing his money to anything…I have a problem with me, a taxpayer, being forced to contribute money to NPR…”

One Response to NPR: Negative Public Relations

    1. STEVE, MASS says:

Before the unjustified firing of Juan Williams, I was listening to NPR. Many of of their historical stories were interesting to listen to. However, when it turned to politics, I could see the left wing direction of this supposedly unbiased organization.

Because of the firing of Mr Williams, I have now stopped listening to NPR and to the radio stations associated with their broadcasts. It's unfortunate that the fall-out affects some innocent bystanders such has broadcast stations in Boston and Palm Beach. It would seem to me that if these stations desire to maintain their listener base, then they need to drop NPR
