    1. Rock Cramer, Parker, says:

For the "wonks" in the group, try to read Federalist 62 (likely Madison)…at least the last six paragraphs. You'll discover that "Publius" (in 1788) captures a very accurate description of the government we have today…why the US Senate was supposed to be appointed by state legislatures. The strength of the "Progressive" movement had serious consequences in the period (roughly) from 1905 to 1918: women got to vote, the income tax started, the Federal Reserve started and Senators became elected by statewide popular vote….when the "Alien" seed of the social safety net began to develop in the womb of our social contract…and crony capitalism became a way of life in the Beltway.

Take a look about half way down the home page of Arizona Farm Bureau (azfb.org) next to a picture of the original first page of the Constitution. "Which Will It Be" is the best (and has a link to Charles Kesler's "The New New Deal" at the bottom). Most business types will get a kick out of "Food Bubble -On Goldman Sachs."

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
