  • The Back-to-School Supply Tax

Many states offer “tax holidays” for shoppers during the back-to-school season, but families everywhere still pay extra at the checkout counter due to hidden import taxes that increase the price of everything from sneakers to baseball caps.  We have produced a graphic to help you visualize those import tax rates for some popular back-to-school items.

I can't count all the facilities from grocery stores to churches that ask for school supply donations for children whose parents don't provide. There isn't feedback of the donations or who they went to. This just reeks to high heavens…sorry Father! But really, something smells fishy! Give a little by choice and the demand comes by force, so again, the irresponsible get another free ride!

I know that, ultimately trade wars are destructive and counterproductive, but. . .

Our trade deficit is so huge. We've subsidized the most of the worlds development, and the regular credit bubbles from the constant trade deficits are not fun. Can't Europe or China be the consumer of last resort? Someone other then us.

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
