  • New Video: What Obamacare Means For Americans

Ever since Sunday’s vote to pass health care reform, the media has focused on the reconciliation vote in the Senate, analysis of how passage affects Democrats’ political standing, President Obama’s poll numbers—anything other than how this new law will affect the American people. However, now that Obamacare is law, it’s more important than ever to remind ourselves about the true consequences of this massive legislation and the importance of repealing it.

As Heritage Foundation President Ed Feulner says in the video: “While the Heritage Foundation recognizes that the health care system requires reform, such reform cannot proceed until this intolerable act is consigned to the dustbin of history.” Watch the video to learn more.

Great work and great video! Let's hope as many people as possible are able to see this. Education is the key to getting our country back on the right track. We simply can't allow the mainstream media drive opinion any longer. It is a one way street to communism.

By the way, if you haven't seen the Obama Health Care Signing photo-op breakdown, do yourself a favor and check it out. Hilarious: http://bit.ly/dmZgQD

Why are the Health Insurance companies exempt from the Anti-Trust Laws?

I know about that 1945 law.

Please, please run on repealing this bill in November and 2012 – want to see the GOP flunder even further than that have this past year. Waterloo indeed!!!!! Thank you teaparty fanatics for helping the Dems reform health care!

I am not sure what the point of the “advertisement” that I just watched was! It sure seemed like a waste of time and money to create.

I am receiving volumes of information about the wonderful benefits of the recently passed House Bill for healthcare reform. I am amazed at the specificity of this information from my Congressman. Has Heritage analyzed this bill point by point for our consumption and consideration so we can enter our objections (if any) in the same manner in which our Reps are flooding the info circuits.
My original objection and advice was not to sign the bill but start from scratch after we get the economy back on its track! Obviously the President and our Dem reps do not care for such advice..

We need help to rebutt substantively!

      Thank you,

      Hal Metzger

Great video… Need more like this. Short and sweet with summary…

John, why are you so worried about the private spending of the creation of this video? FOCUS on the waste that is happening daily, not within your control.

Thank you, Heritage, for your free thinking minds on this educational, informative video.

Is anyone shocked at how the Democratic Progressives were able to change the rules to ram through this legislation? It was about as anti-American as it gets and this is just the beginning. America was the last great hope for the world which is why so many immigrated. However, our economy is about to fall under the heavy burden of European style taxes, mandates, and government take overs . I am 53 and I have witnessed a startling increase in lying and manipulation such as I have not seen since the old Soviet Union. The greatest threat to our national security is not if we get sick, nor terrorism. It is progressives in high government positions.
