Tomorrow, President Barack Obama will host a summit to discuss health care reform, but as Heritage’s Nina Owcharenko notes in this video, if the President is serious and sincere about making the summit a success, he should simply start over.
Owcharenko, who is Heritage’s Deputy Director of the Center for Health Policy Studies, says that the fundamental direction of the President’s plan is flawed.
“Most Americans want the problems in the health care system fixed, but they don’t want a federal takeover,” she notes. But, as Owcharenko says, that’s what the House, Senate and President’s proposal do.
A true bipartisan solution would move in a different direction by empowering individuals and families to make health care decisions.
There are more conservative solutions, too. Watch Owcharenko’s video and share your thoughts below.

I watched it for hours, saw it was a done deal before this further betrayal of our trust. Either I don't understand this stuff or I do, either way, I see a whole lot of reactions to this forced health care on the people. Better watch out and you better not cry, Congress is changing and Im tellin you why, We will bleed while we are sleeping, we will cry when we are awake, Being an American is a bygone, but I live free for goodness sake. Merry Christmas Americans, might better get that shopping in today, nothing will be here when they are finished spending the third generations future earnings, we are done when this deal is done, period……..There will be an clean up come November, and this you can expect and just pray Americans will wait to voice the outrage threw the ballot box.
Does anyone out there aee a pattern here? Does the word "DICTATOR" mean anything to you? Well, it's someone that FORCES their way into the spotlight and then takes CONTROL over you and your LIFE. They'll lie to you. They'll spend your taxes like it was their own. Sound familiar??? Think about it….
