One year ago, Americans had just elected Barack Obama as president, and he promised to enact the most progressive agenda in U.S. history. The mainstream media had declared conservative ideas outdated and the conservative movement dead.
But at The Heritage Foundation, we chose to stand our ground.
In 2009, our experts have led the charge against socialized medicine, made the case against handouts to big labor and stood up to the Left’s cap-and-tax global warming plan. And we’re taking the lead as conservative momentum grows around the country.
Sean Hannity has recorded a video to thank our members for supporting Heritage and conservative principles during these challenging times:

Bless the hearts that stand the ground on truth and human decency! I am not a capitalist. But I am FREE BECAUSE OF IT. I believe the sound principle of conservatism is HUMAN, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. Of course those that want to take this country over DON'T BELIEVE IN HUMAN, PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, THEREFORE, TO THEM IT IS DEAD! GOD Bless you Heritage! God Bless you, Sean!
Sound principle of socialism or communism or marxism or, lets wrap it up in collectivism, is ENSLAVEMENT!
Thanks Heritage for all that you do. :)
Before I came across talk radio (Beck, Limbaugh, and Hanity) I didn't really understand why government does what they do, and why. I just took for granted that government knew what they were doing and were working in our best intrest. Since I have become involved (due to concern over the direction this administration is taking us) I have been looking for non-biased answers, which don't seem to be availible elsewhere (other then Fox News), for what is really going on and why. I'm a proud member that apreciates common sense that heritage has given me to help me understand the pro's and con's to the decisions our government makes, which affects my family and our country. Politically I now understand which party shares my values, and have shared a lot of this knoledge with my children so that they know what is important to them, this country, and why.
Being able to make informed decisions is one of the biggest assets Heritage has given me, to blindly believe our politican's word is to give them the ability to do anything to us, and not properly serve the people as it should be.
