  • Live From Copenhagen: The Full Story Behind the G-77 Walk-Out

The Heritage Foundation’s Steven Groves and Ben Lieberman are live at the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference reporting from a conservative perspective. Follow their reports on The Foundry and at the Copenhagen Consequences Web site.

“The story of the day,” Steven Groves reports, is that the developing nations of the world – including China and India – love the 1997 Kyoto Protocol because there are no requirements for them. When they felt that extending Kyoto was not getting the attention it deserved they walked out in protest. Watch:

Steve seems if BO gets his way of unilateral compliance he will succeed in reducing the US to a developing nation. I'd like to be a fly on the wall at BO's staff meetings…What is his true objective in climate control and emissions punishment for the United States? He can't save the planet he's too intelligent to actually believe that nonsense….so what is it he wholeheartedly wants?

I hope we never find out or live that out. It simply can’t be good for the United States of America

    2. Tim Az says:

It's simple John he wants to give your money back to those you stoled it from. And after that good deed as collapsed the free market system. You will dedicate the rest of your life as a useful idiot serving your new socialist society.

More hoax and less change anyone?

    3. philip says:

    5. Jerry from Chicago says:

To John B., San Diego — What does B.O. wholeheartedly want? He wants another way to tax the be-jeesus out of us, all in the name of saving planet earth.

    6. John B. San Diego says:

China and India are doing much better at Copenhagen than America is; time for a reality check liberals.

You are living in a fantasy world while common citizens here in America pay the price for inept leadership skills, lack of representative governance and an uncanny ability to look at this situation and overlook what is so obvious to everyone else. There must be a better way to display good stewardship of our economy and recognize the environmental issues. Come on Mr. President don’t try to destroy this country in the first year of your last term, please?

    7. duelles, santa fe says:

Tim is right on. The remaking [BO's words] will transform me into a radical revolutionary from a family man, baseball coach, father of three, carpenter, grandfather, RVer loving our National and State parks.

Where can I escape to? I had a chance to go to Canada once but decided instead to enlist in the USAF. Call me CAPT>

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
