Having a "heart" is not enough. Getting "one's heart in" something requires a mind. It takes more, much more, than the easy words of scripted campaign rhetoric.

For instance, a diligent bending of the will to immutable facts, both specific and of wider scope, is required. Connecting the dots is needed -- with an appreciation that these dots are real, and wishing won't move a one of them. That takes a mind, something more than the simple sum of the parts, intelligence and information.

To quote Robert Frost: "...it's knowing what to do with things that counts." An election campaign doesn't require that, which is why these things have always been a poor measure. A better measure was the "present" votes in the Illinois legislature. That was the truest "hint" of things to come. Most voters didn't appreciate that. Next time, they might. "It's knowing what to do with things that counts"!

Mr. Obama's heart appears to follow the dictates of his socialist soul, thus we can not expect his actions to be in the best interest of the nation that has objectively demonstrated the virtues of freedom, the free market and individual responsibility. Let's evaluate him on his actions rather that his rhetoric. He has had since August to make a decision on the recommendation of the general he chose to lead in Afghanistan, but has not, even though the delay puts the defenders of our freedom in danger. That is reckless, immoral and irresponsible.

Obama is leading America down a path of destruction. He is to much of a push over to lead America. Bringing terrorist muslims on American soil to be tried in our civilian courts. giving rights to them that belong to American citizens. Spending and corruption surrounds him and his people in charge. appointing czars without Senate approval. Take his sweet time making a decision conserning our troops. The list is endless. He is not qualified for the job.
