About The Heritage Foundation

Founded in 1973, The Heritage Foundation is a research and educational institution—a think tank—whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. We believe the principles and ideas of the American Founding are worth conserving and renewing. As policy entrepreneurs, we believe the most effective solutions are consistent with those ideas and principles.

With unbridled and infectious optimism, Jack Kemp (1935-2009) championed hope, growth, and enterprise to overcome poverty and social breakdown in America and around the world. In his roles as U.S. Congressman, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and passionate proponent of the free market, Kemp’s efforts highlighted the powerful combination of great ideas joined with the good works of neighborhood leaders.

Jeff Kemp, son of the late Jack Kemp and President of Stronger Families, pays tribute to his father’s legacy as the social justice conservative of his generation. As Jack Kemp’s example reminds us, social justice begins at the ground level where relationships foster the personal dignity and responsibility that lead to opportunity. Following Kemp’s keynote address, a panel of conservatives from Australia and Britain discussed policy implications of these universal principles, and how they are applying them to stop social breakdown, help families escape poverty, and rebuild communities in their own countries.

Despite what Jeff Kemp states and what we know to be our principles, this is exactly what Obama and the Democrats DO NOT WANT. When are we all are going to understand and accept the fact we are at WAR with the Obama administration for the very survival of our American way of life? THESE PEOPLE WANT TO DESTROY US. They will lie about and destort all that we know to be true to achieve their socialist take over of our country.
Make no mistake. We must stop this now by what every means at our disposal.

Let’s INCREASE this kind of people by increasing our own HARMONY and LIVING of these values in our daily Fight.

I couldn’t agree with Lloyd Scallan- New Orleans more. I agree that this is a war. But it’s not just with the Obama administration and the current liberal congress. It is with a mind-set that says that anything that even appears to be based on Judeo-Christian principles is wrong, and must be destroyed. We must find a way to fight this mind-set and bring back those principles that made this country strong to begin with. If this means going to war with those who would see these principles destroyed, so be it.

By the way, I would like to see a Kemp-Palin ticket in 2012.

Jeff Kemp needs to be asked to lead the Republican party in the next election. Sara Palin has been too vilified…and frankly I don’t think all Republicans will vote for her. Mr. Kemp’s father served the party so well…and we need him right now. He is the type of leader that will wake the rest of the country as he speaks about the poor…and about making the country better from within. This optimism is what made Democrats vote for Reagan…. GET HIM RUNNING!!
