About The Heritage Foundation

Founded in 1973, The Heritage Foundation is a research and educational institution—a think tank—whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. We believe the principles and ideas of the American Founding are worth conserving and renewing. As policy entrepreneurs, we believe the most effective solutions are consistent with those ideas and principles.

The Cato Institute’s Dan Mitchell and the Center for Freedom and Prosperity Foundation, have produced videos explaining why Keynesian economics is wrong, presenting the evidence that big government hurts economic growth, explaining how big government hurts economic growth, and making the case against the Value Added Tax.

Now Mitchell is back talking health care with a new video title, A Red-Ink Train Wreck: The Real Fiscal Cost of Government-Run Healthcare. Watch:

Yup. History definitely repeats itself. Like i’ve said before,… “the cares of the many outweigh the needs of the one.” In the name of caring for everyone (by law, mandate and force),… the needs (and freedoms) of the one will be lost.

One doesn’t need Dan’s “A red-ink train wreck” to understand the fiscal catastrophe that most definitely will occur with nationalized healthcare. All they need is half their gray matter coupled with some basic honesty. I know! I know! Don’t expect this until after November’s house cleaning in 2010. But until then, Congress’ so called healthcare reform is a damned ugly mess that just hangs there as a continuing threat to America’s innovators and workers.

    Excellent video. FACTS ARE FACTS!

This is just wrong and ridiculous. What happened to the clear thinking, American minds? The minds that took leadership roles to enhance the freedoms of the American people?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DIGNITY OF AMERICAN LEADERSHIP? What did we do to deserve the ignorance of government majority, leader included, preying on the intelligence and livelihoods of it’s people?

The left wing liberal fanatics rely on fooling the majority. They know what is best for us. They are beyond condescending.

They only fear knowledge. This is why conservatives have to stand strong. They know millions of us can see through their lies and BS. They are counting on fooling enough people until they can consolidate their socialist power grab.

A good example was a lady in Detroit. When asked, “Did you get your money?” She replied gleefully, “Yes, got it right here.” When asked who gave her the money, she replied, “Obama”. When asked where Obama got the money, she said, “I don’t know.” while laughing with others who were waiting in line…

This speaks volumes. These people are uneducated and are being used. They are too ignorant to even see what is happening. And, these are the voters we want to sign up?

These people will have no problem letting government take care of them, including their freedoms.

This plan cannot sustain itself. We’ve said this over and over and over. Wait until millions more are added. There is no estimate that can be accurate or even close.

Keynesian math must be banned from American soil. Punishable as a felony. Keynesian was an acid dropper that’s the only way to explain his reasoning.

The only place you will read about the true cost of national health care is here, at Heritage, and the only place you will hear about this cost is either on Fox News or a conservative talk show.

Obama, Pelosi and Reid don’t give a damn what this will cost; they are already millionaires. They will keep their rich Federal Employee medical plans and pensions. No national health care for them and their families and no cheapskate Social Security pension plans for them, no sir. They will continue to get the best for themselves.

Illegal aliens and those who consistently want someone else to pay their bills won’t give a damn about what this costs the rest of us in higher taxes. They will continue to complain about their entitlements to ‘government’ subsidies.

I am sick to death of hearing that the United States is the only industrialized nation in the world that doesn’t provide national health care.
If things are so damn bad here in the U.S., why does every immigrant in the world want to come here before any other country? I’ll tell you why. It’s because they want to jump on the bandwagon and start claiming “their” rights and benefits.

Fee stuff is good. Just waltz on in to the USA and sign up for your free stuff. Subsidized housing, food stamps, free education for your kids, free health care (just show up in an emergency room) and welfare checks if you don’t have a job. Make sure to hyphenate your ‘American’ status (i.e. Islamic-American, Hispanic-American, etc.) in the name of ethnic pride. Then, write to the newspapers and your Democrat Senators and Congressmen to complain about how you are not being treated fairly here.

Sound crazy? Maybe so, but it works.
