This is what terrorist regimes do. We get in a tizzy about "waterboarding" terrorists regardless of the information gained that saves countless American lives. I wonder what Iranian prisons are like? The food? Beatings? Mock executions? REAL executions? REAL torture – use your imagination.

This is the way the world is.

President Bush was entirely correct naming the Axis of Evil. There are many others who could be added to the list.

Why would any American even go near a border of a thuggish regime that has called for the destruction of America and Israel?

This naivete has endangered the three hikers' lives and created a diplomatic mess. All too many of our people go abroad thinking that somehow THEY have the same rights in another country as in the US. No they don't. This incident did not need to happen.
