About The Heritage Foundation
Founded in 1973, The Heritage Foundation is a research and educational institution—a think tank—whose mission is to formulate and promote conservative public policies based on the principles of free enterprise, limited government, individual freedom, traditional American values, and a strong national defense. We believe the principles and ideas of the American Founding are worth conserving and renewing. As policy entrepreneurs, we believe the most effective solutions are consistent with those ideas and principles.

dad was an.american 11 yr.4 time wounded vet. of the 1st.world war primarily serving in france and europe.also had many relatives serving in pacific regions and european theatre in 2 nd.world war.
personally when old enough,i volunteer’d for the korean war in i952-54…dad got out in 11 years, when he claimed the army got to much like boy scouts.personally i left service primarily because of the silly games one had to play tho i had the greatest respect and still do for their sincere dedications and many missed opportunities some will endure for the opportunity to protect their fellow citizens from our many enemies within and without this good land.veterans day will soon be upon us and remembering many good souls lost is our opportunity to truly appreciate the sacrifice’s of those many we sometimes find it to easy to forget…may our conscience and our good god remember them on this special day
