  • How the Pelosi Plan Kills Jobs

Today the Bureau of Labor and Statistics reported that despite all of the Obama administration’s job creation claims, unemployment has risen to 10.2%. Instead of focusing on job creation, the left in Congress continues to pursue other priorities like their $1.5 trillion health care plan which is partially finance by job killing employer mandates. See chart below:

A recent study by the Kaufman Foundation found that small businesses have led America out of its last seven recessions, generating about two of every three new jobs during a recovery. But as Heritage’s John Ligon explains, Pelosi care discourages small business hiring at a time when government should be getting out of the way:

Health care reform cannot ignore how such legislation’s employer coverage mandates would negatively impact small businesses. The Pelosi plan eliminates the exemption for businesses with 25-49 workers created in the Baucus plan, and it would also impose new marginal penalties on small firms with 25 or fewer workers. This creates a punitive cost for firms, which significantly raises the costs for businesses on the margin.

Establishing disincentives for small firms to grow would lead to a slower, less robust economy–and labor market. Altering these incentive structures is harmful to small businesses and the way they allocate labor. Federal health care reform legislation, therefore, should avoid creating steep new marginal costs relating to business growth–particularly in terms of wages and worker compensation.

Congress should immediately vote for a new Speaker of the House. She would be fired for running any job in the private sector in this manner. Democrats and Republicans know she is devisive, arrogant, and a lapdog for the socialist/marxist left.

You Democrats will be held responsible. You cannot rewrite history to justify the increasing multi-trillion dollar debt on an "experiment" with the nation's wealth.

If she gets this bill through the House tomorrow, every single person who voted for this will go down in history as a contributor to the financial and economic devastation they did to our country.

Only a fool would continue to throw good money after bad, unless it is the intentional destruction of the capitalistic system which creates our wealth. Their actions now show what their real end-game is. There is no doubt any longer. Their socialist ideology means more than Americans right to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Remember, they already have created their wealth. They could care less if YOU get the opportunity or they would not be taxing us into oblivion and blocking the very means to obtain wealth – capitalism.

This whole charade is disgusting. I wonder why I spent 22 years of my life in the Corps loving this country only to see these idiots tear us apart on all fronts.

These moronic communistic clowns won't be happy until america is completely destroyed.I don't understand how this has come to pass in this once greatest nation in the world, but a revolution is coming, and it won't be pretty.

These vile scumbags don't listen, and don't understand that they work for us, not the other way around. Vote everyone of them out next year, because all of the calls, letters, and opposition to their socialistic agenda is being pushed aside. They will pass whatever they want, regardless of the simple fact that most americans oppose this garbage. How's that change obama promised working out for those who voted the worst president in the history of the united states working out?
