The Feb. 25th meeting of Obama and the Republicans is useless and a waste of time. Why would someone sit in a six hour meeting discussing legislation that has no chance of of passage. All Mr. Obama wants is to satisfy a campaign promise. So he has offered an olive branch to the opposition! The Democratic legislators have had their meeting(s) without the Republicans. By the way, Health-care is dead this year! Why doesn't he do something that stands a chance of positive results instead of just a rerun show?

How about Tax-Cuts to small business and do not substitute a stimulus package! How about the Cap & Trade legislation over an industry that is predicated upon a hoax! It is quite obvious that a Healthcare bill and a Cap & Trade bill would basically bankrupt this country.

On the other hand, since virtually all of the environmental legislation and existing regulatory agencies are based upon myths, why not remove the agencies and the present legislation by an appropriate dual-house Congressional commission. The financial savings from such action would very easily cure our deficit budget balances!

The Health Care and Cap & Trade Bills are an abomination against America and demonstrate the incompetance, lack of concern for our debt situation, and irresponsibility of most in the US Congress. America needs to start thinking about 2010, all House members are up for re-election and 1/3 of the Senators. American needs to clean house and get some fiscal responsibility and hopefully Representatives that have done more in their life than just "feed off the public trough" like most in Congress today including the President and VP. Congressional Representatives are paid by the American Taxpayers upwards to $200,000 plus Cadillac benefit packages plus each has an expense account of between $2,000,000 and $4,000,000 each. You'd never guess they worked for American Taxpayers would you? We need to fire a bunch of them, maybe that would get their attention!

People are too emotional about this Obama health care bill. It would be wonderful if all the people took an analytical look at the whole thing - the $'s do not work; are the people currently working in the US (60% of us??) willing to turn over, up to 70% of our pay check with the added universal health care system? We all want to help the down and out peopel, but there are better ways to help instead of making the entire country "down and out" - living on 30% of a paycheck equals down and out...as an engineer I am amazed at lawyers and politicians who run their "work/professions" on emotions with not true, detailed, SURVEYED, TESTED studies to support their policies...how superficial....

I do not want the federal government running health care! I do not care if they call it coop, opt out, pelosi plan, reid's jam it down your throat plan, public option, consumer option...IT IS WHAT IT IS...COMMUNIST HEALTH CARE OWNED AND RUNNED BY THE GOVERNMENT! NO THANK YOU!!!!!!

Ask Americans these questions:

Do you trust:
Insurance companies....X
Federal government

Do you want government to run your health care?
Yes
No....................X

Do you think government concerned about Americans or increasing the size of government?
Americans
Size of Government....X

Do you think politicians know more about your health care or you and your doctor?
Politicians
Doctor/Patient........X

And those people in DC do not pay attention to what Americans want! So my guess is that they are working on making sure we do not have another American election in 2010 and 2012 and are trying to make our country into a communist country by that time! That is why they are not paying attention to millions of letters, emails and the march on DC!

In my town we have letter writing groups and overnight letters by the thousand...do the same in your towns!

None of it is going to matter if Obama signs the UN climate treaty in Copenhagen. Our constitution will be null and void.
With these globalists you need to watch what the left hand is doing while we're concentrating on the right. Focus America, because if we see the handwriting on the wall government run health care is only the distraction.

Why would anyone with any common sense think that the bills that are being talked about in the house and senate will be a solution to anything but stupidity. We will have just as many if not more people uninsured. All of our taxes will increase. Our premiums for healthcare will increase and our healthcare (?) will decrease. All this healthcare talk is about medicare and medicade which this country can't afford the way it is now so lets just tax the heck out of everyone and everything so we can decrease the number of citizens in the U.S. and ruin the best healthcare system in the world. Our politicians should be ashamed of themselves and I hope that some day we will have representives in Washington that will represent us as they should.
