Obama is right to say that health care reform is a moral issue, make no mistake about it. He’s just fundamentally wrong about the idea that the government taking over 1/6 of the economy is the moral answer we’re looking for.

The fundamental reason we argue over the socio-political issues of our time is because we all have ideas about the way things should be. Everyone believes in something. Everyone has a value-system that impacts how they look at the world. We can disagree without being disagreeable.

I’d like to know if the Heritage Foundation has any special ability to effectively communicate with our two Texas Senators than “…we the people” of this great state do. I’ve got a great Representative in Jeb Henserling but its impossible communicating with either Hutchison or Cornyn. All their constituants receive are vague form letters.

I’ve called or written my legislative reps to argue against their version of health care reform at least two - three times a week since January. They pretend to listen, but they aren’t. At first everyone was polite. Now, I am getting testy and so are they. Last week a man in the senator’s office snorted at me. Then refused to give me his name.

They don’t care what we want. We are so expendable. specially those of us who are over 50. They just want us to die and get out of the road.

The younger people will have time to recover from Obamacare when conservatives take over again, but I won’t, not at 60+. Neither will my husband, 70+.

I guess it is game over for us.
