The French Are Suddenly The Tough Ones?

The Wall Street Journal reports:

President Sarkozy in particular pushed hard [to reveal Tehran's secret facility Thursday]. He had been “frustrated” for months about Mr. Obama’s reluctance to confront Iran, a senior French government official told us, and saw an opportunity to change momentum. But the Administration told the French that it didn’t want to “spoil the image of success” for Mr. Obama’s debut at the U.N. and his homily calling for a world without nuclear weapons, according to the Paris daily Le Monde. So the Iran bombshell was pushed back a day to Pittsburgh, where the G-20 were meeting to discuss economic policy.

Le Monde’s diplomatic correspondent, Natalie Nougayrède, reports that a draft of Mr. Sarkozy’s speech to the Security Council Thursday included a section on Iran’s latest deception. Forced to scrap that bit, the French President let his frustration show with undiplomatic gusto in his formal remarks, laying into what he called the “dream” of disarmament. The address takes on added meaning now that we know the backroom discussions.

“We are right to talk about the future,” Mr. Sarkozy said, referring to the U.S. resolution on strengthening arms control treaties. “But the present comes before the future, and the present includes two major nuclear crises,” i.e., Iran and North Korea. “We live in the real world, not in a virtual one.” No prize for guessing into which world the Frenchman puts Mr. Obama.

All the world is a stage. And Mr. Obama is the lead character in his play. It is very dangerous for the world and more so Israel.

    So Sarkozy is “frustrated” eh?

Coming from him that is a real hoot. Why did he not voice his opinion earlier and take the lead? Because it is all a Lie. His comments are for internal political consumption to look like a “big time operator” on the world stage.

This, from the country, that would not let us fly over their air space when we bombed Libya.

This, from the country, that was content to stay out of the military arm of NATO during the cold war – while other countries spent their treasure.

This, from the country – how many combat troops have they committed to either Iraq or Afghanistan? Oh, that’s right. They are angry with us (another lie for their masses) because we had the audacity to begin a war on terrorism since no one else would!

Nothing but a bunch of lying ingrates; therefore, they should make a great ally.

France is the worst type of social “free-loader”. They try to throw their weight around when it is politically convienent. Meanwhile, they had no problem with economic trade with Iran for all these years?

And, yes, they are called “Freedom Fries”.

I could care less about that Frenchmen.

After the new nuke NEWS a reporter asked Obama why he did not tell America about the nuke before. Since he had known about that “nuke” for 8 months.

The world hated the United States for taking the lead and being strong. Now, the world hates the United States for being weak and naive….Oh well!!! Let us not forget that Jimmy Carter strongly encouraged the iranian dissidents to rebel against the Shah. He, Carter, is greatly responsible for the iranian revolution and therefore for the actual crisis. It is Divine justice for Obama to reap the results of another weak administration foreign policy.

The “Obamanation” is clearly not the man to lead our country. He is better at keeping his mug on television every night, lying about Obamacare. Apparently there’s some part of the “NO!” that the American people are shouting that he doesn’t understand. IMO, he’s a worse disgrace to the office than Clinton/Hillary. The only hope I see in Obambi is that he may sink the leftist party for good! Oh for another president like Ronald Reagan……….
