  • In the Green Room: Virginia Walden Ford on Sept. 30th DC School Choice Rally

Heritage’s weekly Blogger Briefing heard an emotional plea for the continuation of D.C. school vouchers, a recently scuttled federal program which provided scholarships of up to $7,500 for more than 1,700 low-income children in D.C. to attend a safe and effective private school of their choice.

Virginia Walden Ford, executive director of DC Parents for School Choice has led a crusade to get funding reinstated for the program. Tomorrow, Wednesday the 30th, she is leading a rally at the U.S. Capital.

    When: Wednesday, September 30, 2009
    11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

One Response to In the Green Room: Virginia Walden Ford on Sept. 30th DC School Choice Rally

    1. Bobbie Jay says:

The actions of Obama will or have destroyed what works and is non-productive at outrageous costs to the tax payers, everywhere else.

I wish DC well and may the true intelligent see the success and respect what works to keep it working without the need of "change."
