As long as lobbying (bribing) is allowed, the American public weill continue to see bushels of money seep out to the favored business. Senator Miller has a son who is a lobbyist (briber) who hounded the Dept. of Energy and on the deadline date he got the additional huge amount of mney for Solyndra.
When will bribing end? Politicians don't listen to the common working man but will accept the bribe money gladly. Bribing cancels out my vote.

It is absolutely fascinating that this government points to us for what their reflection is. Mr. Chu and the government fail to grasp reality. What's it called today, climate change? Scare tactics and deceit is all that is seen in this government, that won't bend to honesty! Let us live and what happens to this earth happens to all. LET IT GO, over paid boobs!

Are those dinosaurs on his tie??? If he's speaking of alternative sources of energy- that's a little contradictory, ain't it? Did he walk or ride a bike to this conference?

Wonder what Secretary Chu's "net worth" is?

Why is it that the wealthy and rich always know what is best for those of us trying to get where they are already at?

It's as if millions of us have missed last call. We get left high and dry.

Mr. Chu, we understand how "important" global warming is AND green jobs. It is hot air that will make untold millions for those who administer this at the expense of the majority.

This is another chink at America's armor that will weaken her through catastrophic spending.
More importantly, it will do nothing to reduce the global warming on any meaningful scale, even if it were true.

I'm looking for an Energy Secretary who is putting priorities on finding and drilling new oil deposits before the Brazilians, Mexicans, Russians, Middle-Easterners, and everyone else finds them AND exploits them. We need oil; that's a fact. We either get self-sufficient or keep get extorted by those that have it.

Teenagers, eh? Sounds like a true central planning party member already.

Energy Secretary Steven Chu and like environmentalists remind me of architects who ignore structural reality because it interferes with their grand open design.
