Not so much. The Environmental Protection Agency issued a proposed endangerment finding in April, saying that global warming and climate change pose a serious threat to public health and safety and thus almost anything that emits carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases could be regulated under the Clean Air Act. The agency is already targeting the ailing auto industry. New regulations are proposing that the fleet average must reach 35.5 miles per gallon by 2016, which will increase the price and decrease the safety of the vehicle. -The Foundry [...]

All of this "quatsch" amounts to, pure and simple, are more and increasing taxes (no matter what your definition). Arthur Laffer has a great article in the WSJ today concerning taxes being the true killer in the great depression... pray we can stop it.

Well, we republicans have only ourselves to blame for the EPA, it was George Bush senior who allowed this group of nut cases to come into existence! As far as drilling for oil off the coast of Alaska, it seems to me that that oil belongs to Alaska, not the Feds. If our states don't soon start taking back control of anything and everything at the state level, the feds and all there nutcase enviromentalists well soon make us a 3rd rate nation! Its time for SECESSION !

When does it stop? Abolish the EPA now! They have way to much power! The middle class will be non-existant all because of a buck!

Vote them all out! We need honest, true americans in Washington! We need common sense! What has happened to "WE THE PEOPLE"! Fight for our freedom and liberty!

The Washington elite cannot be trusted!

Look at how much catastrophic weather and storms are already costing in lives and property. We have to back down on the side effects of civilization, industrialization and unabated population growth, including loss of forests and arable land. Instead of carping about others actions, why don't you propose your own? Or maybe you believe the status quo is just fine!? ADE

Seems like the EPA believes in taxation without representation. If Congress does not move to stop the EPA in it's tracks from increasing energy taxes the people will vote them all out of office.
