A "real" socialist wouldn't foster socialized healthcare, apologize for his predecessors making this a great country, and kiss the butts of every other far left-winger in congress and the media? If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

The prez is not satisfied with screwing up the social fabric and the economy (can't blame it ALL on Bush). He will not stop until his ineptitude takes down our national security as well. Maybe we should bring home all our forces from everywhere and consider defending us at the borders? waddya think socialists?

I read the article and almost laughed out loud. Who, except for pinhead right-wingers, honestly believes that Iran will attack Europe?? Come on, are you all really that stupid? Iran isn't about to attack anyone! Iran hasn't attacked any other country in hundreds of years! (And the Iran/Iraq war was started by Iraq by the way.)
Even if Iran got a nuke who are they gonna threaten with it? Israel? They have 200 to 400 nukes? America? We have 10 THOUSAND! Iran is not suicidal. Wake up people and stop being so damn stupid! Try thinking for a change.
Oh and as Bill Mayer said about President Obama, "Socialist? He's not even a liberal!" Obama is a middle of the road Democrat. A real socialist wouldn't do the things he has done. And I know because I am a socialist! >GASP!<

American position, by extension, Obama position is just a reflection of the contemporary global economic situation where the US can not be provider of common goods. Though this move is antithetical to the balance of power in Eastern Europe, it is a victory on the part of the Russian government and her cronies, Iran and Venezuella. The need to be a balancer by the US can not contiue without a responsibility in military, economic and political terms of which America can not afford at this period. Obama is a pragmatic politician and a stateman. America economy is sick and the Democratic government is a welfare one which would like to embark on the welfare of Americans rather than to satisfy the military-industrial complex.Staging missiles around the perceived sphere of influence of the Russians would bring about another military-political fiasco as Geogia experienced from Moscow.

Instead of METAL DETECTORS at voting sites, we need BRAIN DETECTORS...no BRAIN=no VOTE. That is the only way we can prevent morons like Pelosi, Reid, Frank, Rangel et al from having the opportunity to SCREW OVER THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!
