This is exactly what Americans have been screaming about.
Obama supporters gleefully have been pointing out that there was no coverage in the bill for illegal aliens. True enough, but we have been pleading with our fellow Americans to not be so naive. Many of us knew amendment proposals to enforce verification had been stricken out by Pelosi and Co, effectively creating a loop hole.
This is the kind of sleight of hand that drives us crazy. It may not be called a “lie” but it is disingenious at the least and a political con-job at the worst.
Stop the ambiguity and write bills that are clear, concise, and understandable so that even our elected officials can understand them. Then, if they won’t read them we will.

Anyone, with intelligence knows that illegals will get free health care like those on welfare by simply,giving them amnesty which is on the agenda after obamacare and cap and tax. It seems obvious,to me that the intent is to charge those that currently choose not to have insurance and raise the premiums of Medicare to pay for those who choose to stay below the poverty level to receive a free ride.

If the bill can’t be written under layman’s terms, to include specification of provisions, exemptions, qualifications etc, then Mr. President, you are conniving, manipulating, coercing your bogus. You said you would negotiate. You have deceived the people that believe you are everything you said you are,
that you are not.
There have been many good, solid, strong, sound answers from everyone but you and the democrats, to avoid your debacle of the system. You are simply DEAF to them. Your mind is narrowed and focused on destruction. You are being found out by many you have deceived.

This Obama administration desperatly wants something and it has nothing to do with health care for the unisured.
The want the ability to increase taxes primarily to take out the large voting block of small businesses.
Watch how they intentionally hold down the economy, watch how they recklously spend millions, watch how they make attempts to rid us of our 1st and 2nd ammendments, slowly and methodically.
This whole freedom of the press, talk radio and the internet has to be driving Obama’s ‘bosses’ crazy.

Congressman Hensarling is simply stating a common sense fact, and pointing out that what they are saying by not covering illegal aliens is in fact, totally negated by a general neglect of providing proof of citizenship and preventing the very thing they say will not happen.
This is just another bait and switch and once again reveals a lack of common sense and general common need, want, or direction for the country. Someone, somewhere wants this to cover illegal aliens and has put in verbage, or in this case left out certain verbage, to prevent it from happening. My fear is that on top of these most obvious inequities, what else lies buried much deeper within this that has yet to, or will ever be discovered before it may pass?
Ill or injured people who go to an emergency room are going to be helped regardless of their immigration status and regardless of whether or not they have insurance. ER staff are dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering. They’re not going to turn people away.
I was a volunteer firefighter for 28 years and worked on an ambulance for a summer. I can’t imagine ever withholding medical care because someone isn’t a citizen or doesn’t have insurance. Nor could I imagine letting someone’s home burn for similar reasons.
I may not like having to cover for others by way of higher premiums and higher taxes. But the solution is clearly not withholding services.

Who said anything about “withholding medical services at the emergency room”?
If you go by your logic I guess we do nothing but open up the borders? No? Then what is your solution for the 15 mil already here and what is your solution to not gain another 15 mil in 10 years? Amnesty? Then more Amnesty? Then more Amnesty? It’s enough to drive someone crazy!
The point is to bring ILLEGAL immigrants under control since they have ALREADY violated federal laws by being here ILLEGALLY. Both parties are to blame. Here’s a few solutions/points:
1. THEY NEED (VERIFIABLE)WORKER PERMITS. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THAT WHEN THIS ADMINISTRATION CANNOT EVEN LEAVE E-VERIFY ALONE? SO, THE SOLUTION IS TO GO AFTER THE EMPLOYERS WHEN WE JUST HAMSTRUNG THE VERIFICATION PROCESS?
2. WE NEED A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT SINCE OUR OWN PEOPLE ARE “GAMING THE SYSTEM” BY ALLOWING A MOTHER TO CROSS THE BORDER, GIVE BIRTH IN A US HOSPITAL, TO GAIN AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP! CAN YOU HONESTLY TELL ME THAT WAS WHAT THE FOUNDING FATHERS MEANT BY “BEING BORN ON US SOIL”? Then many Americans see nothing wrong with that!
3. WE NEED TO LET LAW ENFORCEMENT DO THEIR JOBS.
4. WE NEED TO PUT PRESSURE ON THE MEXICAN GOVT TO PATOL THEIR OWN BORDERS INSTEAD OF PROVIDING ASSISTANCE WHERE WATER AND SUPPLIES ARE STAGED TO HELP PEOPLE SNEAK INTO THE US. OH, THEY CAN’T DO THAT BECAUSE MONEY SENT BACK IS #2 FOR THEIR ECONOMY! WHAT ABOUT SPENDING IT HERE.
5. ABOVE ALL, WE NEED PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THIS IS OUR COUNTRY. TO HECK WITH LA RAZA. NO OPEN BORDERS! WHOSE SIDE ARE THEY ON ANYWAY?
We are not monsters; of course if someone goes to the emergency room they will receive medical care. AT THAT POINT, AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN TREATED; THEY GET DEPORTED AND NOT 6 MONTHS LATER.
PEOPLE ARE UPSET BECAUSE POTUS WAS CALLED A LIAR? Do you really believe that no way of verifying legal status was an ommission? Then why did the Democrats not allow 2 amendments that would have closed that loophole? Do you think that lack of wording was unintentional?
AM I GOING TO BE “CALLED OUT” FOR USING LOGIC AND HONESTY?
In summary, you apparently care less if our borders are unsecured. Your sanctuary cities in California are a great example of law-abiding citizens obeying federal law. Look at the shape California is in?
Everything you said carries no point because no one’s house is burning down and no emergency care is refused to ILLEGALS.
Jill, people who choose to come to America for citizenship do it by the law with the understanding of civil law and living independently. We are being used and abused, as the government decided not to motivate immigrants to appreciate the freedoms and liberties and responsibilities of independence. Because of this, any issues of immigrants becomes costs to us.
this one country, invites all to live free under civil law. when taxpayers are obligated to pay immigrant costs or any costs of bias, race, creed, culture,(personal issues) it is enslavement. And of course, UnConstitutional. Nobody is stopping anybody from helping anyone injured for free. Nobody should be forced to either.
Glen Beck is correct in my estimation. There is a conspiracy against almost every principle of American sovereignity and integrity of our Constitution. Liberals have so contorted all issues including the Illegal Immigration Issue until they have most Conservatives on the defensive anytime we seek to demand honesty and observance of sound and sensible laws. They will turn the issue on the Conservatives by calling them RACISTS or UNCARING Harsh illerates.
Ths President is well on the way to BANKRUPTYING AMERICA. There is no way that the US can afford what they are proposing. They do intend to cover the ILLEGALS. President OBAMA was filmed talking to the Hispanics and he told them they would be covered by the EMERGENCY MEDICAL ACT OF 1985 even if they could not get coverage in the current bill. He also told them he was going to see a Amenesty bill passed ASAP. Emergency Rooms and hospitals have closed by the score in CAlifornia because of this terrible financial drain on that state and on others as well. IT is fine to give emergency service to prevent death or to serve because of true emergencies but the reality is that the Illegals are working the system to its ultimate and it has no end in sight.

Because of this, our district must make improvements with bonds and taxes - not with money from other districts. Jeb’s bag of pork comes home from Washington empty every year. I have heard NO convincing evidence at all that illegal aliens will be excluded from the health care “reform” plans put forward by the Administration.They already have access to all ER’s and Democratic Party intentions to make them citizens and Dem voters give the lie to claims that they will be excluded.
