If we had any sense, we would vote all incumbents out of office at the very first opportunity. But we shouldn't stop there. I believe that like the Presidency, all Congressional and Senate offices be limited to two terms per lifetime. Another thing that should be made law is that all appointees to Federal agencies and commissions (czars) be investigated by the FBI with results published in the Federal Register. He doesn't need formal death panels, all he has to do is ration the health care to seniors, withhold needed medicine and surgeries and his objectives will be realized. Why isn't he focused on the Economy and jobs when the unemployment rate is almost 10% and expected to climb. I don't care if you are a Republican, Democrat or independent, why doesn't the congress and senators we elect vote like a patriot and what is good for Americans, not what ther party leaders want! California please vote Nancy Pelosi out of office. Nevada please vote Harry Reid out of office, they are only interested in their narrow socialist agenda. And let us start working on a candidate to beat Obama in three more years (If we can hold on that long before we become a socialist nation.) I never fully grasped the significance of this when I was young, I truly believed in eglartarianism as the panacea for curing all the ills of society.... Now I realize that democracy which recognizes majority rule without regard to minority rights can lead to the confiscation of property by the majority (under the guise of taxes)and to the circumvention of the constitutional guarentees by a flawed supreme court. Our forefathers believed in least government,states rights,individualism and recognized that just government transends from religion and that absolute equality is given at the expense of liberty. Our present representatives do not seem to recognize this and go merrily giving away what is not rightfully theirs to give. Roosevelt started this downhill slide (read Amity Shales , The Forgotten Man) our liberal Democratic and Republican friends are continuing this misguided policy. One would hardly believe that I was once a Democrat, voted for Truman, Stevenson, Johnson and even Carter....We all make mistakes ...I an a member of the "greatest generation" where we had less material blessing but more freedom.
