    2. linda Ca says:

we already are in such trouble. What is the matter with these people?

    3. terri,tx says:

It is called communism. Acorn has been given enough money to cook the census and the next election. Speak now or forever hold your peace!

    4. Cathy Amelio, New Je says:

Cap and Trade will make them all mighty rich! Al Gore for one and of course ACORN has a hand in the bill as well. The Czars also get some cash on this!

Stand up and be heard or they will push this down our throats as well!

We have a government of change and it is destroying the Constitution!

We cannot let our guard down! Vote them out! Impeachment looks promising if the government and their thugs don't kill you first!

God help America! What a sad state of affairs that the Citizens have to fight the government!

    5. Bonnie says:

This is one of the main reasons we need limited terms on our congressmen and senators. These people get in and stay for life and don't give a dam about the people who put them there. All they do is make stupid decisions but in the long run THEY ARE NOT AFFECTED BY ANY OF THESE DECISIONS- THEY JUST DON'T CARE.

    6. Bette, Bridgewater, says:

I do believe God is on our side and the evil seems to be breaking down and making stupid statements about the Post Office not running as well as private FED EX and UPS. Ofcourse the Post office is run by the Government you dope…And Pelosi seeing swasticas at the townhall meetings, she is one sick pup. Keep praying and fight the good fight and we will win and save our country and Constitution !!

    7. John Roane Sarasota says:

Yes, cap and trade. The US Congress will cap your income and trade our US Constitution for a world government. The fools, in a World Government, you won't find any Americans in charge.

    8. Tom Bates says:

"Quoting" Congressman John Dingle, "This just a large Tax Plan"

"Waxman"(my Congressman) & "Markey" are 60's anti-Business liberal hacks who hate big business as being evil who have found a way to tax all industry's and make themselves and their supporters rich.(ie.Al Gore) This done on our backs!!

An oil company that has all the environmental safe guards and complies with all clean air requirements and dosen't polute is deemed a polluter. Therefore in order to continue they are required to purchase someones potential right to pollute. The purchase is brokered by General Electric, Goldman Sacks for a 15% commission. The balance of the money paid goes to the potential polluter who has recieved money from a private business. Thus achieving wealth re-distribution.

The cost is passed on to the poor, elderly on fixed incomes our children and grand children.

The oil company is allowed to continue complying with all regulations. The same amount of green house gases still go into the air IT JUST COSTS MORE!!

    9. Tom, Pennsylvania says:

This law is proof that Congress is full of liberals who want to destroy our country because they lack common sense and a strong sense of national pride and independence. The environmentalists have been out of control for years and the left wingers care more about keeping them happy than protecting American jobs. They must be smoking some funny stuff to believe that this bill will actually create more "green jobs" than jobs in other sectors that it destroys. Just look at what they have done to the timber industry and many manufacturing jobs that have left this country because of our regressive laws and taxes.

    10. Karen, Indiana says:

Really, take a look at every senator and congressman and there are at least half that have been in office for DECADES.

I pretty much think we as Americans have nothing to lose but to vote ALL of them out whether you like them or not and start over with some private sector experienced , constitution loving people. Maybe keep a few that are doing good for the country and have a PROVEN RECORD OF IT if they haven't been in office for DECADES

    11. Frank ans.conn. says:

Why in the world because of the two idiots that wrote this bill the citizens of every state are going to get an enormous tax hike. Al gore and his cronies are going to make BILLIONS off of this bill. The only green Al Gore cares about is how much green money is going to go into his fat pockets.

    12. Patriot Cat says:

I thought that it was interesting to be told that the new 'VOLT' will not only go 40 w/o a charge, but that with an 'ethanol' only gas engine, it will go 230 miles. You know what? We were told months ago that ethanol pollutes more than regular gasoline, is causing agriculture and food costs to rise, and is creating shortages of goods because 'ethanol' created farms get government subsidies. We need to get out of the farm business, the bank business, the insurance business, the private industry businesses, the pay check business, the union business, the electric and gas business, and the health care business. And we need to revamp (vote in) a whole new Congress and White House.

    13. Ruth Wayer, Big Rapi says:

Frankly, the only thing that surprises me about this bill is that Michigan won't be the biggest state loser. Maybe it's because we've already lost so much that there's not much left to lose. There's a joke that goes, "last one over the state line turn off the lights." Now we'll have nowhere to go!

    14. Pat, Pennsylvania says:

It worked in the late 1700s. It is time to think REVOLUTION!

    15. Susan, MI says:

The sleeping giant has awoken thanks to organizations such as The Heritage Foundation and Fox News. WE the People cannot stop pressing forward. DO NOT STOP! I just cannot wrap my brain around all of what is going on in our beloved country. I have not had a raise in 2 years and my husband is on commission in a new job. We are barely making it and this cap and trade scares me too death as much as the Health care bill. Where am I going to come up with extra money to pay for all of this? Our utilities are so high now! Not to mention how these idiots are lying to us all of the time. I am very glad I do not put my hope in this government, but in GOD….HE is the real leader

    16. Tim Adams, East Troy says:

The common folks of this country are all tapped out. We're losing our jobs and our savings. The greedy and power hungry in Washington are running this country over a cliff. It's time to step up with even louder voices at Town Hall Meetings and Tea Parties to let them know we won't take it any more.

    17. Rich, Pennsylvania says:

We continue to lose our jobs, our cars, and our homes, all in the name of "Hope and Change". And now, to toss more salt into the wounds, our energy prices are about to skyrocket. (have you noticed the types of vehicles that arrive at the White House, etc.?). We'll be driving Bamacars while the rest of the world awaits delivery of their Hummers and Yukons. The inmates are running the asylum.

People, please let your voices be heard in every way possible. We desperately need to get our country back. God Bless America(as we knew it), and in particular, God Bless our military heroes!
