Activists on both sides of the issue are raising concerns about whether the proposed government-run “public plan” and the private but government-approved plans in the proposed National Health Insurance Exchange will be required, permitted, or prohibited from covering abortions.
This is a critical issue, but in the course of this debate comes a stunning admission from the left. The Associated Press reports(Boldface added):
Abortion rights supporters say that would have the effect of denying coverage for abortion to millions of women who now have it through workplace insurance and are expected to join the exchange.
Millions of women are going to lose their workplace insurance? Workplace insurance that they like, perhaps better that what will be available in the exchange?
But didn’t Obama promise that if you had workplace insurance you could keep it, and the only thing that would change is that it would cost $2,500 less?
As he said on his campaign web site, in the second presidential debate, and in the third debate:
If you have health insurance, then you don’t have to do anything. If you’ve got health insurance through your employer, you can keep your health insurance, keep your choice of doctor, keep your plan. … And we estimate we can cut the average family’s premium by about $2,500 per year.
Perhaps “abortion rights supporters” understand what those on the right have been saying for months – under the health care reform plans being considered by Congress, millions of Americans will lose the health plans they have now.

Waaa, waaah – I really feel sorry for them – not. If they want an abortion – here's an idea -they can pay for one themselves. They aren't prohibitively expensive. What did women who wanted an abortion do before insurance covered them? Some insurance plans don't cover them now and women still manage to have abortions. Planned Parenthood isn't going bankrupt anytime soon. Look in the phone book. PP even offers student discounts – sick as it is. If I'm not mistaken, they even offer financing and gift certificates. She could make her baby daddy pay for it. Can't people take care of themselves anymore?
Quite the “Hula” dance, this Liberal "thinking", isn't it ? Every “swing of their hips” transports liberal “thinkers” deeper into the land of injustice.
Might one abstract from this an axiom? ::: When the elimination of a (perceived) “injustice” causes one or more additional injustices, either the plan is faulty, or no “injustice” was involved in the first place !
OR
Every injustice requires additional injustice(s) to compensate, and even more injustice to cover up original intent !
