[...] Taxpayer Funding of Abortion. The issue of taxpayer-funded abortion, as well as legal requirements on insurance coverage networks to include abortion services, have been raised in all three House committees, as well as in the Senate HELP Committee. Rep. Sam Johnson (R-TX) and Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) tried and failed to convince the majority of the House Ways and Means Committee not to impose such a requirement on American taxpayers. Under the proposed House and Senate legislation, there are no provisions that would prevent federal officials from mandating that health insurance plans include abortion services. Johnson’s amendment would have prohibited any federal requirements on insurance plans to cover abortions, and Cantor’s amendment would have prevented taxpayer dollars from being used to fund abortions. Both amendments were defeated. Similar restrictions were also defeated during the House Education and Labor Committee consideration of the bill. [...]

Taking "my" tax dollars and using them to murder unborn children is the most evil act that anyone can commit, let alone try to legislate. I do not want Political people making Moral decisions for me. God have mercy on all of us.

1. The nation (and all of it's churches) forced to pay for abortions under national healthcare.
2. Transferring $500 Billion from Medicare for health reform when "baby boomers" are entering equals a rationing of care. In theory incarcerated health care benefits could in fact supercede that of law abiding, tax paying seniors.
3. The possibilitty of Gov. officials overseeing community/neighborhood health concerns (family planning, end-of-life counseling, recommended vaccinations/medications, rationing of care etc...) or "Health Police" will not be welcomed in my HOME! This concept steps upon unlawful search and seizure in my opinion. This is where the government is trying to legislate moralities which will be the ultimate failure of this process. It doesn't even matter if I agree with "Health Care Reform" or not. It fails on the multiple side notes/agendas.
