Video: Diverse Opinions on Energy?

Earleir today, Harry Alford, the President of the Black Chamber of Commerce, was invited to speak at a hearing of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee [1] by Senator James Inhofe (R-OK). The hearing [1] focused on the erroneous claims of the left that cap and trade somehow creates jobs. Mr. Alford correctly told the committee [2] that “the number of these new ‘green jobs’ will be lower than the number of the other jobs that [Waxman-Markey] would destroy elsewhere in the economy.” His assumptions were based on a Charles River Associates study his group commissioned. Senator Boxer attempted to marginalize his opinion, demonstrating once again that when the environmental left says they recognize ‘diverse opinions,’ they only mean opinions that match their own.
