Wow!!! This health care plan looks a-mazing. Can't wait to get lost some where in this socialist nightmare. Help US oh God. To those of us who choose a simple life or don't claim to be the smartest person in the room, the government can now say, "See how complicated this is? If none of us have jobs (or our take-home pay isn't worth the effort anymore, what with the raised taxes), when we're starving will Obamacare restore our health if we're young enough? What's the age cutoff for healthcare? Is food and shelter covered, or is it going to require a hospital stay of three days like medicare?
Every member of Congress should be required to have the same Health Care plan that they are forcing on the U S citizens! To think that
they would even consider restricting care for Senior Citizens is criminal!

So have you all heard about page 16 in this bill? Where it specifically states that you can continue to keep your own health care, but if you ever wish to change insurance companies you will never be allowed to come back to that insurance after the official date the Natl health care has been established. There will be no new enrollments allowed for the private companies. So when people leave or die their insured base drops. End of private ins companies. Also, new required mandates for more abortion clinics in certain areas.
You haven't been listening. The answer is not re-electing anyone to the US Congress.
Don't tell me your guy is OK, that's bull. They all need to go and when that starts to happen you will see them pay more attention to you. Especially when they notice it is with no regard to party only that they are the incumbent.
What about those who are in an emergency situation such as I was in 2007 when the Doctor found 4 major blockages of 90% each and I needed by-pass surgery …yes yesterday. What would have happened if I had to deal with the proposed health care we are looking at now. Good chance that I would not be here today!!! My family would be visitng the grave yard now.

I think we must insist all elected politicians from the White House down share in our Obama insurance plan – no one is exempt and then see what direction this takes. We have to stand up for ourselves, our freedom is being taken from us and we are doing nothing. It is amazing how clueless most people are about what is going on in this country.

There's no question that we need healthcare reform in this country. But Obamacare? Heaven forbid.
Even if a government-run insurance plan is less expensive than the private insurance I have now, I wouldn't touch it. Why? Look at TARP, AIG, GM, and other things this Administration puts its fingerprints on. People and companies that bought into government assistance have since found that they have sold their souls to the Devil.

I am a registered nurse and have been working in health care since 1978. The government's involvement in health care is a nightmare. Any further regulations, restrictions, re-distribution, what-ever is going to cripple the system. The nurses, physicians, therapists, ALL direct care providers are stretched to the limit. The government has no idea what chaos they are going to create. We are not automobiles. This is not GM. Help us, Help you. Keep the government out of health care. They are sucking the life out of us.

I just heard that there is a provision in the legislation that requires senior citizens to be "counseled" on end of life issues every 5 years. Can't wait to be told to die and get out the way.
Yes sir, that does look exactly like something the Government would come up with, to describe exit routes and how to get to the rest rooms! In a single level one hundred square foot building. Open air. No walls. Just a roof. It has been my unfortuate experience in my sixty plus years, that when ever the so called 'Government' attemps to describe anything, it is never done by one single individual. It is always done by a committee! And this is a Committee that for some phenomenal reason known only to God, cannot and will not agree on any single item they are to explain! So we end up with the above type chart. The most pathetic part is no one in Congress can understand it either! Oh, they will ask questions, that make about as much sense as the chart, but even then they will not understand the answers. That is because if there are twenty individuals in the group that created the chart, there will be twenty differing answers to the question that the Congressman didn't understand when he first asked it! It is truly amazing to me that our Nation has lasted as long as it has, but then the people who serve us may actually have believed in the Oathes they took to uphold the Constutution. I had a fusion at C6-7 in 1999 at Barrows Nero/St.Joseph hosp. in Arizona. After Surgery the Surgeon told me that the only reason I was still alive was because of a last Dieing wish from my Neurologist. He had to call in a second surgeon to help save my life, I was 40 yrs.old and had a 6 and 16 year old boys. He said not expect it to last long and that it will never happen again. No one will do another fusion, which always follows the first one. I am on Medicare! from a few yrs. ago work injury that slowly caused this, 48 ganglion blocks. One Pres. allowed private Ins. to drop anyone qualifying for Medicare. And now Doctors only have to save you life at the point of Dieing. I now need fusions at C5-6 and L-5,3&4 are going because of no help . 3 hospitals tried to Kill me, No food or water nor help entire stay. I'm now slowly chocking to death and everything else that goes with compressing nerves in necks. With good Health Ins. I could live another 30yrs. and see my Grandchildren. Decaying with unbelievable pain. They say I can go any time, any ware, in front of any one. I hope it is fast, I hate chocking to death, rushed to ER, stuck with needles, and sent back home. It has been a never ending nightmare for my sons. The Mayo Clinic said that I'm worth more as a donor,that thousands of people come to this country with cash to replace anything! God Please help me.
Is the Gestapo going to come and get me now that I'm speaking out about what really happens to Medicare people who are seriously ill? They want us to Die. There are too many of us. And to think this all started from being over worked and got Carpel Tunnel. The Work Comp Company abused me for 5 years, and tried to kill me with medical abuse. Then made me sign papers I did not understand. I was only 28years old when my life ended. I had just past the tests for the Navy, I use to be in the Air force, I wish I was still in.

Then, even if you consider it futile in a state like New Jersey, for example, where we even have some RINOs voting FOR cap-and-trade legislation, PLEASE INUNDATE YOUR CONGRESS REPRESENTATIVES AND THE PRESIDENT WITH PHONE CALLS, E-MAILS AND FAXES! Government health care (or nationalized health care) will cost every American more money for health care, but it will also lower the quality of care, because everyone will pay for all the illegal aliens in our country (and will allow all these great people in Wasington to rape and pillage the health care system as well as destroying insurance companies).
Here we go again! The stimulus bill was so critical it had to be implemented immediately! Over 1200 pages were added to the Senate version of the bill at midnight; the bill was posted on the internet between 2 and 3 am; no printed copy was available when the senate started voting at 8 am. Only 1/3 of the stimulus money has been disbursed and no one can tell us where it went.
Now we have healthcare legislation that is urgently needed by July 31. The House version was voted on and passed before a final copy was drafted. House members say they don't know for sure what Obama wants in the legislation; Obama admits he hasn't read the House version yet but insists this is so critical both the house and senate must approve it by July 31.
Democrats and Republicans are trying to rush these important bills to a vote before anyone can read them and discover all the pork and the government plans to take over every aspect of our lives.
There are people who can analyze the problems and work out solutions – but none of them are members of Congress who are drafting the legislation with the help of lobbyists.
This thing needs to be put on hold until we can elect a new Congress and study what needs to be done. Obama needs to be impeached for his treasonous acts which are destroying our economy and taking away the individual and collective rights of our citizens.

As I have watched the discussion on health care reform I am totally amazed that the American people cannot see the real facts.
The only reason that health care costs have gone through the roof is the hundreds of thousands of attorneys that only specialize in malpractice suits. (There by becoming rich on the backs of every American in the form of higher health care costs.)
When you go to a doctor or hospital, you are going to seek the help of a better trained human being hoping they can help you.
They are not a GOD therefore they cannot fix everything perfectly. If you expect this you will have to wait for the resurrection.
The attorneys tell you if the service is not perfect (GOD LIKE)then you must sue. The American people have bought into this belief and the juries go along with the belief.
The Doctors, Hospitals and Insurance companies must charge enough to cover their costs of your service, Immense malpractice insurance and still feed their families.
This country was founded on self reliance and was built to the greatest Nation on Earth by people that put everything have on the line every day to supply people with jobs and the others choose to supply health care. The profit made on a persons services is what has made this country great.
Obama and his crew in the mobocracy of DC are running on a fast track to total Socialism. To make sure as many people as possible follow them they are preaching that a company that makes a profit is evil and Unamerican. Tax the rich but not them they are the elite.
I do not feel we have until 2010 to start to make changes. We must start with recall elections in every state and they should be directed toward every congress person that has held office starting with Jimmy Carter's administration. With a recall and firing of the congress people we may also be able to stop the Billions of dollars that the tax payers will pay for their retirements until their death. This burden is totally unacceptable when we fire them.
They must be required to use government health care just like everyone else when they are in the private sector.
If we do not start to act now and with decisive action it will be to late.

In my opinion, the strategy is to bankrupt the country, meaning the government will have further "justification" to implement higher taxes for EVERYONE and more government "programs".

This flow chart looks like the one NASA used for the '69 moon shot with one exception. The NASA chart was less confusing. The only thing more disturbing than this ridiculous debacle is turning on my TV four times a day and seeing President Obama's face telling me what's good for me. Does he have to permeate my daily existence constantly? Please Mr. President….sit down and SHUT UP! Just for one day stay out of my life. Go on vacation or something. Leave us alone. How can I get a large and readable copy of the proposed Government Health Care organization chart?
If this is supposed to be a program for all Americans, why the need for an "Office of Minority Health" or an "Office of Civil Rights", right smack in the middle of the plan? The people who put this so-called plan together do NOT have our best interests in mind…and they should not be allowed to continue "representing" us.

After careful study (requiring 1 bottle of Advil) I noticed that there is one critical element or elements missing. I tried to overlay the interconnections however, by the time I made all that I am aware of it makes it almost impossible to see the lines on the original chart.
The critical element missing is the place of lawyers, frivolous law suits, excessive awards and intimidation of insurers, providers, hospitals, etc.
What we need is TORT REFORM BEFORE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM CHANGES ARE VOTED UPON. Further the looser in the lawsuit is MANDATED to PAY ALL COSTS.
Talk about lowering health care costs this action will bear the most fruit.
You need to bring this demand to your elected officials.

A simple federal law mandating that all hospitals, all health care insurers, all pharmacutical companies and all health care providers be required to function as non-profit business could be a simple fix.
The plan is about control of the population. True health care reform requires TORT reform, private sector ownership, and free markets.
Recall elections and no incumbents in 2010 sound great to me
One of the posts above exhorts us to educate others on this health care bill issue. The Good Lord knows I try. I have relatives who have their heads buried so far in the sand over obama that they can't hear. I have e-mailed friends, relatives, my state's representatives and senators and reps. and senators of other states against this incredulously monstrous bill. If enough of us take an active part using the proper tools at our disposal to oppose this mess I think we can prevail. It will be a long (4yrs. minimum) battle, however. Onward and upward!

All we can do is tell as many people as we can and keep calling/writing our representatives. They need to know our anger (repectfully, of course) At least Glenn Beck is trying to come up with some answers and things that we can do in stopping this craziness. Keep the faith and know that God is still God and He's still in control. Don't lose hope people, let's just keep sticking together and not give up trying to make a difference. One thing I know, this administration will sooner or later be found out. It's just a matter of time. Let's keep speaking out and making phone calls.
