  • In the Green Room: Rep. Steve King

Earlier today, Representative Steve King was here at the Heritage Foundation. He took a few minutes to articulate to Foundry readers why cap and trade is a bad idea and cannot be improved to the point where it would help the economy or the environment.

Spot-on. Rep. King is not only intelligent and articulate, but also guided by rational considerations tempered with common sense. Why does this seem to have become so rare? Where are the Main-Stream-Media to report this ?

Steve King is so right. I think congress and the administration have lost their minds. If they are trying to destroy the American economy they're going about it the right way according to Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". Now that Cap and tax is in trouble and socialized medicine has hit a snag they are talking about a second stimulus. How can they bring us down if they aren't allowed to spend all of the money we, our children and our grandchildren will ever make? That's the real agenda.

Common Sense is so uncommon Today!

    5. Ross, Bradenton, Flo says:

Iowa is a state of farmers and the American spirit. Commonsense by the name of Rep. King Blackburn seems to be one of the best crops they have sent to Washington if this interview is any indication.

    6. Kelvin Kopp, Anita, says:

But how do you explain Tom Harkin? He is one of the best cases for term limits!

    7. Atlanta GA says:

AMEN. DRILL HERE DRILL NOW. Thank you Rep. King.

    8. Barb -mn says:

For the first time, I agreed with the president: "Science has made it clear," Yes, Mr. President. SCIENCE HAS MADE IT CLEAR! TIME AND AGAIN! MANKIND DOES NOT CREATE GLOBAL WARMING!!!!

Please, Mr. President, use your God given intelligence to understand common sense…

It's comforting you are finally catching on…NOT!

    9. Fayetteville Ga says:

The comparison with Iran and to allow them necular capablitiy and not to build nuclear plants in the United States is right on. Plus, it is a Cap and Tax is a job killer
