So much for the stay. They can move forward that quickly. If this isn't a dictatorship in the making, what is?

Contracts and rule of law mean nothing. I for one hope business pulls their money from this country and we simply crash. I will have to lick my wounds as well but that may be the only way Americans wake up. July 4th this year feels different.

Redistribution of "the wealth" via TAXES and PRIVATE INVESTMENTS? Even Justice Ginsburg saw the manure underlying the demagogue's frosting. The administration and congressional leadership are completely out of control. Can we just crash and get it over with?

The stealth reorganization of Chrysler, accomplished by White House cramdowns, challenges the Supreme Court to define whether "too big to fail" can morph into "too big to follow the law."

The Supreme Court knocked down several of FDR's attempts at massive intervention in the private sector. He hit back by attempting to pack the Court. The rationale he gave for the Judiciary Reorganization Act of 1937, in one particular, is stunningly on point with Obama's approach: private contractual rights must give way when the Prez says the economy demands it.
