  • Protect America Month: New York

The inaugural event of Heritage’s Protect America Month, remarks by former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney on June 1, sold out fast.

But later that same week, Former Attorney General Ed Meese and Dr. Kim Holmes will host a screening of Heritage’s 33 Minutes documentary on missile defense in New York City.

You can register to attend the June 4th event here.

Defense Secretary Gates has been visiting Alaska missile defense facilities, though the funding for the program is being cut. Wonder if Alaska could somehow fund this on its own. Bond sales, maybe? Bake sales? Just kidding, but what do you do when the federal government renegs on its obligation to defend the country?

Can anyone stop this government from their insignificant priorities going through? Wasting costly time and billions? Creating non-productive make-work? While the existence of human life is constantly being threatened by man-made nuclear weapons, the government continues to lie, cheat and steal in the name of something that does not exist! Man-made global warming.

Clearly, this president has no concern for protection of all people equally. As long as man can threaten the lives of man and carry through, the last thing this government should be dealing with, let alone even have considered, is man-made global warming and personal healthcare.

Thank you, Heritage. This "in the face" set of facts, made me gulp.

Big Government Is NOT the Answer

Your tax dollars are being spent on programs that we really don't need.
