Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO) is known in DC as an avid Twitter-holic. So it came as no surprise when we saw this revealing tweet from Senator McCaskill:
Stuck in tram from Capitol to Hart. Broken. Not moving. Lieberman and Alexander in next car. And Voiniitch. Wonder how long we’ll be here?
As Red State points out, the tram that runs from the Capitol to the Hart Senate Office Building covers the distance roughly the length of a football field. So if stuck halfway, this would require the distinguished Senators to walk for at least 3 minutes. Red State found the perfect video to demonstrate this emergency:

Be sure to follow Heritage on Twitter @Heritage.

She was not even close to spelling "Voinovich". Was she trying to call him "Voin-I-Itch"?
And why on Earth was a tram built to transport people 300 feet? Can we get someone to shed some light on that boondoggle? What's wrong with an airport-style moving walkway? How about a rickshaw? Wouldn't that count as a "green job"?
Hmmm… I wonder if they will have to call the Escalator's Union before they can move?
Great video…
Nevermind that being stuck on the tram means you can't walk anywhere. It's funnier if you leave facts out.
In the time it took to "twitt" this message, McCaskill, and the others could have "quick marched" the entire way!
As far as the video goes………….. it fits!
Apparently, when it stucks, you can't get out. See her latest tweet on same.
They are the elitists running this country.
If this doesn't scare you into voting them OUT in 2010, nothing will.
Absolutely deplorable.
It's time they went back into the private sector and made a living for themselves, sans "legacy costs" that we pay for for the rest of their lives.
Disgusting !!!!!!
Future of transportation in America when the Socialists assume total control.
