Just as in Spain, subsidizing renewable energy in America would create increasingly large debt bubbles, according to Dr. Gabriel Calzada of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain, the recent author of a study on renewables’ effects on employment there.
“Once you start on this path of putting public money up to make it possible for renewable energies to succeed-you create a huge problem that needs continuous amounts of money,” he said, adding that a short-term glut of “green jobs” masks fundamental problems in the medium and longterm. “Most of the jobs are only in installation. Very few are in operation and maintenance…This means a renewable bubble, but also a subsidy bubble.”
Indiana’s Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference, hosted the Energy Summit which Dr. Calzada, along with Heritage Senior Analyst Ben Lieberman, lent their expertise at. The summit kicked off a nationwide tour that seeks to develop real energy solutions that won’t raise taxes on the American people.
The Foundry previously covered Dr. Calzada’s sobering findings:
…For every “green job” created 2.2 jobs in other sectors have been destroyed. Furthermore, Spain’s government spent $758,471 to create each green job; Spain’s government used $36 billion in taxpayer money to invest in wind, solar, and mini-hydro from 2000-2008.
“They’re very risky jobs. If at any point the bubble explodes, you dont have these jobs anymore,” Dr. Calzada said. “How many jobs have you created – and how many jobs would you have created with all these resources?”
To nervous laughter, Dr. Calzada closed his opening remarks with another question: “Why would a country like the US like to learn how to create jobs from the country with the highest unemployment rate in the developed world?”
Good question, Professor.
One thing that is disturbing me is that the entire world economy's engine has sputtered to a stop and while we all are gliding down down down the political people in Washington are carrying on as if there's nothing wrong,
and we are in such a robust economic growth and stable econimy that we can borrow uncountable millions of dollars of money to do things that won't work,
and that even hinder economic growth and even if it were true cannot pay it back in a reasonable amount of time , this is totally unacceptable to me at least.
Our econimy is not stable and it is not growing the tax base of our government to pay back all or any of this borrowed money is SHRINKING.
A farce exactly; GREEN is death to the American worker, wake up. All you have to do is look at what corn alcohol in gas has done to corn tortilla and corn flour. CO2 is a ruse and a way for Gore to line his pockets. Snake oil salesmen have existed from the beginning of time and I think he gets the gold medal of all snake oil salesmen.

The US firms have offshored 22,000 green technology jobs to India since January 1, 2009, Doug Brown, co-author of the influential 2009 Green Outsourcing Report, informed TNIE.
“We see the (green job offshoring) trend increasing as the US and the UK outsourcing buyers are seeking lower cost in labour and energy consumption. There are few suppliers who match credentials and outcomes of Indian firms,” he said.
The annual industry study by Brown-Wilson Group, which surveyed 4,000 global firms, was released last week.
The report lists Patni, HCL, WNS, Wipro, Mastech and Tech Mahindra among important Indian green vendors who are benefiting from the offshoring wave.
Among the non-Indian firms, Xerox, Accenture, IBM Global, CSC, Capgemini, Oracle, HP/ ED S, Aramark, SITEL and Perot lead the list.
As most of these firms run large delivery centres in India, the boom in their green offshoring business is expected to further create jobs in India.
Noting an interesting irony, the authors of the report say, “In the US, green stimulus plan is creating low-wage installation and construction jobs.” But, in India, which is usually associated with cheap and low-skill work, “…New green jobs include higher dollar engineers, strategic business management and support technicians charged with designing innovative environmental friendly solutions,” they add.
Green offshoring is creating demand for sustainability engineers, marketing and business development executives, data center management engineers, utilities and electric engineers and quality specialists in India, Brown informed TNIE.
Soaring energy cost and regulatory pressure have put pressure on firms in the US and Europe to embrace green technologies. Most of outsourcing buyers seek impeccable green credentials in their suppliers before handing over work, the report says.

Tell the US politicians about CNG. It's green enough to cook a burger on, we have lots of it, it is less expensive than gasoline and we don't need any from the Arabs. Isn't that enough to get anybody's attention? The automakers could be back at work in 3-6 months if they would build CNG powered vehicles and the US natural gas supplies will get us through the transition stage to solar, wind, or whatever. You also get hydrogen from natural gas. Wake up America. We have more natural gas than most countries in the world. You could put a put the US Energy workers back to work. What is going on? Does this make too much sense for this government? You can not cook a burger on coal.

The enormous amount of money poured into Green Jobs will produce little to nothing for the dollars spent. It will take decades to change the mode of transportation and use of oil. These Green Jobs cannot change our way of life overnight. If anything these dollars are merely appeasement for the left "eco" crazies that voted for Obama. I'm not even convinced there is a real problem with carbon based fuels. However, cleaning up our environment with smart technology can't hurt and is a good thing. In the meantime, America has to drill for oil within it's borders so that we can sustain ourselves from foreign oil. Drilling for new oil is vital to our national interests and security.

To Frank Collatt who is outraged that the so called "green" jobs are being outsourced to India and elsewhere; The problem is not the companies but our government and their cohorts of enviro-fascists. Punishing taxes, forced labor laws, punishing environmental regulations and the anti-capitalistic voting block has contributed to the problem. Make it attractive for capital investment, interference-free contracts and private property rights and envy-driven governmental abuse of power are necessary to keep the jobs in our country.
Since the fall of communism, green has become the new red. The green movement is like a watermelon, green on the outside and red on the inside.

The Holy Spirit
When Christ fasted He was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness. There, the mental (the devil through his own thoughts) came to him THREE TIMES to tempt him away from his centered state of being.
The first thought told him to convert some rocks into bread to get him to eat. Since, we Christians know that he was detached (separated) from his thoughts, they had no power to influence him. He, in his stillness observed them out of existence. Then a realization (an insight) came. That we do not live from bread (food) only …by principles. Later on He showed us how to have order and purpose while eating a meal (…the last supper).
The second temptation came after he looked at the (the city) world in front of him and talked (yes, your thoughts, the devil talks to you through your own mind) to him about how he could rule and be powerful if he worshipped the devil (listened to his thoughts and not His conscience). After he waited patiently, the tempter left and a second insight came. As we know he did the opposite: He helped free those who were willing (out of their own free will/choosing) freed from wrong doing and helped them rule themselves (live their own lives according to their own conscience).
A third insight came after the mental came to him again to tempt HIM to throw himself down from a pinnacle. It wanted him to commit suicide, and gave him all sorts of excuses how he would be saved on the way down, recall? Again, it, the thoughts have no power over him (the Holy Spirit) and patiently observed them out of existence. Then the reward came to him from God, that he was to defeat (love) the outer world the same way He loved (patience) it/defeated it in his mind. He knew right then that he was going to be tempted by the world (people that act and identify with the same thoughts/the devil that came to him) the same way his thoughts tempted him.
Based on these three insights the foundation for the rest of His ministry was established. He left an example of how to live life, with meaning and purpose.

The only thing green that will be created, (not jobs), is the money that a certain group or groups will be making with the promotion of this joke. I equate this "Green" crap to the scum found on ponds that are stagnate. It's like every other plan that this administration has come up with – it costs the taxpayer money with a HOPE that it will work. Spit in one hand and hope in the other and see which one fills up first. One Big A.. Mistake America.
I've heard that it takes 1000 of these wind mills to equal 1 steam fired power plant. In West Virginia where they have over 200 of these they make a mess of the scenery. If the Kennedy family don't like them the rest of the world shouldn't have to put up with them either.
