Don't assume to know who I am speaking for. "We" is in reference to my family and I, Ken. Yes I can speak for them.

My post clearly stated the "ken" I am referring to.

Barb-Mn,

It is not good but expected to see that HF allows comments about the thinking capabilities of others who choose to speak on this site.

To quote you "When thinking of America and FREEDOM, it stands without saying what people can do for THIS country is DO FOR THEMSELVES. FREEDOM FROM GOVERNMENT. What we WANT KEN, if you are able to understand with your limited thinking ability, is America’s freedoms, liberties, principles, values, built up not destroyed by the current government who’s only mentality is to steal from others to give to those they, VICTIMIZE, SYMPATHIZE AND EXPECT LESS from.

This country will not be judged by how it treats it's wealthy but by how it treats it's poor.

I couldn't disagree with you more on what "we" want based on your treatise above. You happen to speak for a minority today. A minority that once had control and by the power vested in that control could not bring itself to be seated in power again. Today your vagueness and degrading comments are the cry of a faction that cannot work with a new majority to bring stability to a shaky and troubled country.
Freedom from government (regulation) is the start of our downfall. *I couldn't care less where you want to get sidetracked on who started what. I wasn proactive action to put the thieves out of control and our investments in the future on a rock steady course. You had best start listening and take up reading from sources other than this Conn at HF.

I am prepared to allow the current administration the leeway we gave the last administration. I believe it is the way it is done in America. I don't buy that all in this country think for themselves, often it is confused with thinking ONLY of themselves. I don't have a clear idea of where you stand on that. It has been said that in life It's not the duration... but the donation (Corrie Ten Boom).

Please don't think you are speaking for all of us. Some of us don't want you to speak for them about freedom, liberty, victims or sympathy

There is another Ken in the House....and I think he is trying
his best to communicate without degrading your thinking abilities.

Hey Ken in LV

Dictionary.com -April 27, 2009 the word of the day was "ken"
I wish more folks would subscribe to a dictionary site and get there terminology right. Communist

These are all very good comments and, I am relieved to see that there are people of like mind who are willing to speak out, given what has happend to people who speak out, ie. Joe the plumber. Having said that, I will fight and die, if neccesary for this country. The gall of this communist to think he has the power or the right to remake the country.

Ken Jarvis -
"provided a tax cut to 95 percent of all working families.”
"PROVIDED" What???? $15??? So our children will suffer ungodly taxes? It amounts to NOTHING but increased deficit.

“We began by passing a Recovery Act that has already saved or created over 150,000 jobs and provided a tax cut to 95 percent of all working families.”
Well, which of them did the government "already" do, Ken? Save or create jobs? It's one or the other yet he couldn't tell us which? What incompetence. Who's covering the wages to these government jobs created? The $15 dollars the government just gave us? Not to consider the rising cost of living? Plus tax increases at every government level?

The BEST part was at the end - “And that’s why I’m always amused when I hear these criticisms of, oh, Obama wants to grow government.

No.
I would love a nice,
lean portfolio to deal with.

He didn't suggest this during his campaign. AT ALL!!! The words he speaks communicably, speak loud and clear of big government. What he has done and continues to do, the money he has already accumulated and what he plans to steal is all BIG GOVERNMENT. Every private sector job in the free market has either closed down or THREATENED by his presidency, To eventually be bribed by his presidency to result in government ownership. He wants tax payers to pay the consequences of the irresponsible from birth to adulthood and beyond. Instead of holding them to their own consequences. What's fair, Ken? Why won't you acknowledge this?

By the way, we are not financially rich. We struggle to live independently. All due to the cost of GOVERNMENT SOCIALISM in this state and getting worse while the feds take more. We believe in freedom. Freedom of all who reside in America...legally? Who would know there were illegals if they were all doing for themselves? The government promotes, provokes, expects civil discord. We believe any personal struggle is ours as human beings to deal with. As this is what the government has expected of our immigrant grandparents and us and what we became accustomed to in accordance with American principles, rules and civil laws, within the abilities of ALL HUMAN LIFE! Not the government's. This is expected of all, as all human life has the instinct to survive. All human beings have the ability to use their brains, to think FREELY, to LEARN, communicate, feel, hear, see, ALL, EVERY SINGLE HUMAN LIFE with or without race, creed or culture, using their INDIVIDUAL ability, in their own way. . . If anybody expects less of anybody's human ability to take these human responsibilities mentioned under the constitution and the declaration of independence, are either racist, bias, discriminative or GOVERNMENT! Unfortunately, you're an example yourself of one accomplishment of government. Everything you speak of is either about the leader saying something that can be counterattacked by his own actions or Bush... Same thing over and over again, everybody on your side including you, lost your ability to think for yourself. Exactly what the GOVERNMENT WANTS. When thinking of America and FREEDOM, it stands without saying what people can do for THIS country is DO FOR THEMSELVES. FREEDOM FROM GOVERNMENT. What we WANT KEN, if you are able to understand with your limited thinking ability, is America's freedoms, liberties, principles, values, built up not destroyed by the current government who's only mentality is to steal from others to give to those they, VICTIMIZE, SYMPATHIZE AND EXPECT LESS from.

"No. I would love a nice lean portfolio to deal with." Means nothing but APPEASEMENT for you and the rest of the indoctrinated. Actions speak louder then words.

"But that’s not the hand that’s been dealt us.” Obama wasn't dealt a hand, he created it and took it by choice. Save yourself, Ken! Every action of Obama is inefficient, inadequate, destructive, in opposition to what America stands for, or once stood for. His words are many and many are deceptive. Instead of inspiring, he weakens the country and her people. Instead of inspiring people to opportunity he blocks the door!

President O'Bama & his team are always short on facts. I doubt if any of them completed an economics class. Soon the years will be known as the O'Bama Depression.

One thing about all this Socialist burying living and subsequent generations under freedom and prosperity-killing government control, spending, and debt is, for example, there aren't really any so-called "Social Security accounts" containing money, in individual's names, which individual's have supposedly paid into them like bank savings accounts, etc. Indeed, for generations now, despite any misleading politician and bureaucrat claims and accounting tricks to the contrary, what generations have paid and/or continue to pay has gone and continues to go into the (quote) "General fund" which of course means that, regardless of when or how politicians may claim or declare it will be or must be "raided" to pay for anything, the money's gone before it gets there anyway, especially when there's government deficit spending and debt to make it even more so!

So as for any of us either having the attitude or even saying "at least I got my 'Social Security'" and/or "to heck with whether anybody or any other generation gets theirs", that is at best falling for what's being foisted and perpetrated by Leftist politicians and bureaucrats and at worst harboring or speaking a short-sighted orientation toward self which fails to see not only the unsustainable Socialist seeds of it's own destruction which is Social(ist) Security, but also how and what, through such Socialism, such government costs all of us, both tangibley and intangibly, both as individuals and beyond ourselves.

Komrades, everything that the chairman does is well planned and orchestrated,in other words it's all rigged. His town hall type meetings with the folks, or is it volks, his factory visits with the workers, newsconferences when only the chosen are permitted to ask the very soft questions and even the election. It was all rigged. Remember when he said government is the only answer and the pubitburo gave Chrysler billions of our dollars, well he was wrong on that one. They flushed all our money down the toilet and GM is about to do the same thing. This administration without a doubt, is full of the most clueless infantile bunch of marxist morons to ever have come down the pike. Remember, there were 55 million of us that didn't vote for this guy and as time goes on you can bet that this number will increase.

I am overwhelmed with the outstanding ability of Mr. Obama to take over our government and capitalistic enterprises with such extraordinary ease. Our nation is a nation of sheep. Our country is sinking into a morass of unspeakable debt, our rights are being violated, the government grows ever bigger and my daughter, a devout fan of Mr. Obama, expressed a concern that in going through her spring clothes in the attic she didn't have enough closet space.

We need a vibrant spokesperson for the Conservative/Republican Party. A good choice would be Michelle Bachman. She is a splendid, passionate speaker and should be promoted.

I am 62 and I am looking forward to collecting my Ss in July. I was worried about my children and grandchildren's future, but it is the 20 to 40 year olds who put this Hollywood star inoffice, let them worry about their children's future. The gimme, gimme and I deserve generation will be the ones who suffer most. Let them enjoy the legacy that "their" elected president is leaving them.
