The problem with cap and trade is that it makes the premise (EPA) that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. Every breath we take pollutes the air? Ridiculous! Just another way for the government to get into our wallets and control us. It’s time we kick these guys out of office and let’s send the EPA with them.

What’s new? The Governments only purpose for the last dozen decades or more is to find more interesting and subversive ways to Tax and Control Its Citizens.
We, the Citizens, are the Dummies who keep electing them. The very definition of insantity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting differnt results!
Push for “OPEN PRIMARIES” in every Sate. Do not fight among yourselves over so called ‘Party’ issues. Vote for the “Person” who is willing to voice your concerns and needs and wants, even though they may not be popular, nor , “Politically Correct.” And have the Candidate swear to uphold the promises in writing under promise of resignation if unfulfilled!

I am all for open primaries and term limits. I am tired of the career politicians, who think the seat they were elected to is theirs for life. It’s very hard to beat an incumbent, with all the lobbying groups, funding their campaigns. The gifts come with a pay back and the pols are under obligation to the money men and therein lies the problem. Term Limits would clean the senate and house slate, and We can hope that there are still a few good men and women. who would put America at the top of the to-do list. It would be a refreshing change, and it’s the only way to oust the entrenched politicians. No more dynasties!

Amazing quote from a man who earlier spoke of “Global Warming” and what we must do to control it. Dingel has been around a long time and is a classic liberal from Detroit being elected by the auto unions. He needs to retire and be replaced by a fiscal conservative. Not likley, but I can always hope.

People are shocked when a politician says one thing one week and the complete opposite thing the next, they all know we don’t hold them accountable, just look at Dodd,Pelosi,Frank, now Specter and the all time thief of truth Obama. Why would they act any differently when what they do is not only expected but generally excepted. Then they want to lecture us about morals. My father would turn over in his grave on this. We not them have to set the moral direction. It starts with doing away with the career politician through our vote. Remind them that will work for us from know on and do as we tell them or else.
