Exposing Health Care Myths Video Contest

Posted By Conn Carroll On April 16, 2009 @ 12:32 pm In Ongoing Priorities | Comments Disabled

Got a video camera? Do you want health care reform consistent with limited government principles? Do you want $3,000?

Then you might want to enter the Galen Institute [1]‘s First Do No Harm Video Contest [2].

Check out this flier [3] for all the rules but quickly; videos will be judged based on quality, creativity and message … and the message Galen is looking for is that big government is not the answer to health care reform. One of the myths Galen wants to see exposed:

Expanding government is the only solution to health care. There are many ideas about how we can reform our health care without exapnding government. For instance, we buy many things from other states – why not health insurance? Or how about providing tax credits to help people buy health insurance that is portable, so they can take it with them from job to job.
