Pres. O is sure to be reelected if only because there is no serious conservative contender on the horizon. And no, Palin's not who we need. We need someone who's seasoned, worldly, and confident in their conservative philosophy. We don't need more Bush types who disappoint when we need them or who aren't taken seriously because they come across as hayseeds.

It doesn't seem the younger generations understand or care about how the Govt is spending their future and reducing their freedoms. It's the naive, indoctrinated youth who vote Demo.

Thomas, please don't think for one minute we approved of Bush's out of control spending. The point here is that Obama was supposed to change things not increase spending. Of course he and Demoncrats will say they have to spend to get out of the mess Bush left- (Yes we're sick of hearing him cry over the mess Bush left - if he couldn't handle it - He shouldn't have run for President) - he told us he was going to do that and maybe he needed to do some spending - but the things that are going on in this country, by this government is unpardonable and irresponsible.

The dems were in charge of the banking committee, look what a mess they have made. Some of the fault must go to those that chose to purchase a home they knew was not in their capacity to pay for. I am all for helping those that have lost jobs due to no fault of their own, but a line has to be drawn at some point in time. I worked for my home and mamaged to pay for it. Those payments did not come easy, but I asked noone for help in getting there. The current administration is wrong in this business and are intent on making this country into a socialist government and in the process send us into the annuals of history as a failed society. The bad part of this situtation there are people that suck this "change" up as if it was sugar. Wake up and see what is happening.

It is hard to believe Americans are laying down as this Congress and Peewee Herman run the country into a socialistic quandary of ineptitude and fascist mandates.

In a few short weeks an inexperience dictator has been given the keys to the kingdom, has erased all dignity in the office by bowing then lying about bowing to the king of a foreign nation, has allowed the buffoonery and corruption of government mismanaged moneys to continue and is still declaring his war on America and instilling his social regime of centralized, costly mandated change into his brand of socialism with no cost limits or end in sight.

Everything you listed here are blows against freedom, liberty and the right to choose. This is COMMUNISM, something we used to resist, for every good reason possible.

This level of deceit has seldom been allowed to fester, but now it seems Americans are just laying back and letting their country be destroyed by the three stooges, Obama, Pelosi and Reid.

We the people are being placed under the yoke to support a communist agenda and a financial devaluation of our people to maintain a level of taxation to keep Washington in power over our citizenship. This is no stimulus but a systematic degradation of Americanism and the hands of the chosen few.
Nothing this congress is doing shows a trust in the American people or a trust in the value of our ways.

Europe would be wise to run from peewee's play house as fast as they can, before the vortex of shameless pandering and moronic ineptitude engulfs them too.

It seems that our President follows no ones rules but his own. He bows before a Monarchy, the King of Saudi Arabia ,appogizes to the rest of the World for Americans being what they are, Mrs. Obama is to High to curtsy before the Quenn of England, and he promises all of American the most charming things , but all that comes out of his mouth is feathers!
I doubt that this man has read even one book of American history and protical!
His still insist that we have an energy crisis, while turning two of the world's largest oil reserves into Federal Parks right here, that would have provided us with two hundred years of our own fuel!
He insist that Global Warming is caused by CO2 emmissions, and now says the Sun is getting cooler and that we are going to saturate the Troposhere with CO@ to create a Green House effect to keep the Earth warm, while taxing use on carbon emissions!
He still insist on calling crude oil a fossil fuel, though all of the modern world knows that it is nothing but a combination of the Earths Crust's two most common compounds and is continuly being created, along with methane and coal!
He has given the highest tax increase in history to tobacco, without even a quick study of individual State histories that have done the same in a much smaller fashion. More people quit smoking and less money came in to fund the Treatment Facilities! Now people will just grow thier own tobacco and/or trade for good. Check history under "Tobacco Value Currency." Besides there are no laws against growing it yet!
Everything this Administration does is pooly thought out and too quickly executed. For every ten people working in an industry that he shuts down, only two are replaced in his new, so called, Green Industries.
Our population is growing, not reducing. We need more jobs, not less! Promises are cheap, action is hard. So far all I've seen from this Administration is cheap talk, and shame brought to its people.
The only ones I have pride in at the moment are the people at FORD, and I thank God that my family have always been FORD automobile people. People who have always made products for the working man, not the supercellious pseudointellectual types with no craft work skill who will have to beg for food and shelter when Obama brings this whole thing crashing down around us!

"This administration, full of academic, unprincipled (by conservative standards) liberals is intent on proving the unprovable - that socialism can work. In the process they will destroy this country if we give them enough time."

That's why they're using a hybrid mix of socialism and fascism.

There are lots of us 'dreaming' of winning the lottery, just like a lot of people 'dream' of owning their own home. Why doesn't the government feel obligated to dump a few million on each of us with the lottery dream?

Everyone wants more than they have, from the poorest of us to the wealthiest. One of the many good things about this country of ours is that everyone here has opportunity to earn more than they have. I would like to have the financial security and lifestyle of a professional athlete, or a successful entertainer. It isn't fair that I can't have these things merely because I don't have the talent to earn them. If I can't have these things, then no one should have them.

Why doesn't the government pass a law providing all of this to me and to people who feel the same way? I will vote for anyone who will make this happen for me.

Not one of America's millionaires and billionaires should be allowed to keep one dime more of their money than the average annual income of the American family. Not everyone has the same talent, ambition, drive or desire to become wealthy, ipso facto, that's unfair. The great and powerful Obama needs to come to the rescue, with the aid of wizards Frank and Pelosi, and become the "Great Leveler".

Such legislation, of course, would exempt the federal lawmakers and administration, as it always does.

This is what happens when a candidate (Obama) is elected who promises change/hope without any details or vision of what his America would be like. This is also what happens when a citizenry goes to the voting booth without doing their homework to become informed and when the media does not do it's job of informing the people. There were books written about Obama and Chicago politics that would have given a good clue as to where he might go. This administration, full of academic, unprincipled (by conservative standards) liberals is intent on proving the unprovable - that socialism can work. In the process they will destroy this country if we give them enough time.
