White House Senior Advisor David Axelrod spoke with Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace on yesterday morning, and clarified what had previously been an incoherent policy on missile defense and global threats to America and our allies:

Well, I think that, uh, uh, missile defen-, the the missile, the the President has said, that he is, uh, that he is willing to embrace, wants to embrace missile defense if it’s necess-, necessary, uh, uh, if it’s cost effective, and if it works, and he has never, uh, taken that off the table.

He went on to inform Fox viewers that the President’s policy of protecting America is based on the strategy of hoping for nuclear weapons to simply go away.

Our goal should be a world in which, uh, you don’t need those systems because the weapons, uh, have been eliminated.

Axelrod is an idot. He joins the other democrat speakers like Harry Ried and Murtha, and polosi as some of the most incompetent people to ever hold a high office in the history of the world. Too bad we cant get them elected in Russia, I would sleep safer if they were screwing that country up as quickly as they are doing to ours.

Obama or his ilk could read the back of a soup can responding to any type of policy and there will be those who believe they just heard gospel.

Poor Axelrod looks inebriated. Honestly, I don’t blame this guy, his victorious presidential candidate or their welcoming congressional majority. My heartburn is with those voters who allowed themselves to be suckered, latching onto the demagogues’ rhetorical bait. A number of these folks are now slowly awakening questioning this new big brother and their fiasco riddled agenda. They bought into Obama’s empty message of HOPE. I say live with it. The rest of us have to.

Are you kidding? This man is perfect!, as he is what GOVERNMENT prime time IS!

I listened to the interview and literally had to turn it off a few times. Axelrod was completely incomprehensible. Wow.

So instead of putting locks on your car door, you should pressure thieves to not open your door and take things?

In the business world we call them ” empty suits ” . When you put inexperienced people in charge of the most complicated operation in the world, this is what you get. No one should be surprised .

I emailed Mr. Wallace 3 days before his show and asked him to quit putting on Mr. Obama’s political advisors (schills) who continue to sprout campaign slogans and do not have any thing useful to say if it is realted to the real problemsin the world.

God help us all, this administartion has no idea what they are doing. Then again this is the change people wanted i guess. Do you have buyer’s remorse yet?

April 7, 2009 Robert Petruic, Alberta, Canada writes:

Dear God these people scare me. They have no idea how the world works.

April 7, 2009 Harold TN writes:

He sounds just like the complete idiot he is. Maybe is problem is that he forgot to use his TELE-PROMPTER.

April 7, 2009 Brad S,, Detroit, MI writes:

It is not so much the ignorance of these “empty suits” that scares me. It’s the ignorance of the voters that elected them (and continue to elect them again and again). Why can’t we go back to the old way of voting where you had to own land in order to cast a ballot ? (Just an extreme example to make a point . . . .) That way you have an “iron in the fire” - so to speak - versus those that continue to live off of welfare and medicare and whose only accomplishment in life is to create another generation of Americans that live off of welfare.

I watched the interview sunday morning and thought: “Wow, this guy is laboring to get the words out. Either he was dogged tired from conducting too many interviews, or he has a health issue, or he is truly a blathering idiot on this topic.

April 7, 2009 Marty W. writes:

I think some of the comments are wrong. I think Axelrod and the other O’Bama cronies know exactly what they are doing, lie, obfuscate, and when attacked, demonize the attacker. They are all products of Saul Alinskey’s “Rules for Radicals” school. This is exactly how O’Bama and Axelrod were described in the book “The O’Bama Nation.”

April 7, 2009 TedN, St. Petersburg, FL writes:

Remember: “Just words - Just speaches…”.
They all sound, talk and act like thugs. Although not surprising - it is astonding the electorate fell for this nonsense and now we must live with it. Pay attention, take notice talk to your counterparts. Hopefully there will be unprecendented blowback in 2010 and send these community thugs packing.

April 7, 2009 Bill from MD writes:

Obama’s administration is “anti-Bush”. They have no further coherent positions. Axelrod created an image without substance. Now that the hard sale is over, the voters are starting to have a case of buyer’s remorse. Obama wants to eliminate nukes and the missle defense system. What is wrong with this picture?

April 7, 2009 Denise, IL writes:

Maybe Axelrod needs a teleprompter.

April 7, 2009 Glenn, Aiken, SC writes:

Did it sound to anyone else (besides me), that Axelrod is the voice in Obama’ s ear when he’s not on the telepropmpter?

Close your eyes and listen again!

April 7, 2009 Dorothy Morgan, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma writes:

I’ve been listening to David Axelrod for two years; he’s one of the smoothest speakers ever…
always has had the facts at his finger tips and never said one “uh” before. O’Reilly must have been jabbing him in the back with his broom. Or maybe it’s difficult to speak when your enemies are all around you. I’ve noticed that members of this administration never speak as well on Fox….if anybody ever lets them.

In any case, I’d like to hear his explanation for this. Of course, I didn’t see it. Church, you see.

Dammit Rob Petruic, why don’t you go and get a job in the financial sector, perhaps back into banking and leave the defense spending to the professional.
